Just for context - this is a "Cheap vs Expensive" Christmas Song challenge and both videos were shot in a day or less - so everything from beat, lyrics and music video were done in a day by the two teams. Considering that, both songs are pretty great for their own reasons!

@AmusedOrange its not about listening to the song itself but rather than they kepts missing the song cause they were talking over it and ended up missing some quite a few of the references, hell they missed pretty much the entirety of tobis part

It's important to know the context. "Christmas Drillings" was made in about ten hours with a budget of 100k dollars, while "This or That" was made in about six hours with a budget of only 100 dollars.

@Sayan Samanta I mean they would react like how most people would do. With context, things will significantly be judged biasedly. The sidemen themselves wanted their songs to chart. If those songs does charted, most people would listen and judged it without context. Most songs even comedic one are enjoyed with or without context. Also, a bit unrelated, even without context, Roomie and Jonas still enjoyed them. So clearly the Sidemen succeed to at least make their song enjoyable out of context. So your statement is the dumb one here tbh, expecting everybody to react to the song with context.
@Zack Fross being a regular viewer of sidemen i watched the making of the video first. And i believe most of others too. Even if you dont know the context how can you not get what it is while watching? Like any one can clearly see the production quality of both the songs and to still compare them literally is just so dumb.

The first song was made in only 10 hours and they got an expensive budget whereas the other team had no props to work with and just had a friend make it lol that's why they're both so different

They then plotted to kill Santa as revenge.They had the help of JME who already hated Christmas for *reasons*, and KSI got too much fun from killing Santa and making kids cry.
