Like Nichols & Hoffman, Emma knows how to capture and almost romanticize those pockets of numbness and ennui we all experience. It's how - even as we watch her move around her multi-million dollar home - we still relate to her.

This made me think of being in my early twenties. Obviously wasn’t doing what you’re doing! But… getting dolled up to be with friends, wanting desperately to find the party - which usually ended up with just getting snacks at the corner store, while also being alone a lot of the time. Contemplating life, the day to day, finding my groove in a new era of my life. This is such an “Emma” video because she does not mask her era with the “stuff” and money she has accumulated. She exists as a 21 year old, as we all must, and have, and will, someday. Thanks for that.

emma is honestly my comfort person. every 3 or 4 months i fall into that rabbit hole of watching every video over and over again. i have ADHD and sometimes i get the feeling that emma might me somewhat neurodivergent too. i don’t wanna say anything wrong, but as a neurodivergent person i feel the most ‘at home’ with other neurodivergent people and she just gives me this vibe. watching other or most of the youtubers out there i never feel understood or relate as much as with emma. she says things that i think in my head, but if i would say it out loud people would look at me like i was an alien. i might be completely wrong, anyways i love love love emma
