Yo Wolf, why UAclips over Twitch for streaming? Have you ever done a video on this?
Slytherin all day!!
Depends on the perks, raven claw I think holds the best starting stats to help. but I won't know till I see the bonuses for each house.
I am a Slytherin. My patronus was an... Orangutan. Lol
Just go with blue eyes for the elder wand which I have in my patamore
It would have been cool if the game started on the train, and you got sorted into a house based on how you reacted to things that happen during the journey.
frfr
@Mux the game set in 1890s. There were definitely commercial trains at the point?
So animal crossing new leafs approach to how you’ll look in the game?
@Mux The game is set in 1890. Anyways, there were trains in the early 19th century! On September 27, 1825, Locomotion No. 1 became the world's first steam locomotive to carry passengers on a public line, the Stockton and Darlington Railway, in North East England.
It would of been cool if they actually went full out with the game and have you start off in year 1 instead of year 5 but because it looks good everybody turns to idiots over the game they half assed the game and everybody is praising the makers f that
Great video, very succint and flows well!
Thanks! CG on the gold play button
My G really forgot Severus Snape. The guy deserves so much love. He is one of the, if not the best written characters in Harry Potter.
Tis facts
Rip Tha Half-Blood Prince 👑
💯💯🐍
Got Slughorn, though! 🙄 🤣
For being a simp his entire life? I don't know about that one.
You can argue about his choice. I am not saying he was the best as a person or someone who you can look up to. But you can't deny the guy was loyal to the very end. Not to Dumbledore or Harry or Voldemort but to his love for Lily. Imagine saving the child of the person you hate the most and love the most.
The level of detail in these house common rooms is incredible. They really made the world come alive in this game.
The kids who got passed over by Godric, Rowena, and Salazar...I can only imagine just how crushed and rejected they felt. Don't get me wrong, Helga was awesome for having so much empathy and accepting anyone, no matter their aptitude...but I'm sure the students of her House still felt like a bunch of unwanted leftovers.
Which in turn lights a fire in them to work hard to show their worthiness, perhaps?
Ngl, it seems like hufflepuff gets the most ppl. I've told a bunch of ppl to take the quiz. I got ravenclaw, my ex got slitherin, my boy got gryffindor, co worker got ravenclaw, other co worker got hufflepuff, my twitch streamer friend got hufflepuff, and like 4 or 5 ppl in another comment thread told me they got hufflepuff.
Well that's because they are the leftovers. Even JK Rowling didn't give them too much thought as an organization of side characters. The only notable Hufflepuff was Cedric. Meanwhile each other house gets multiple notable characters over the course of the books. Rick Riordan in the Olympus series (Percy Jackson series) does it better with the Hermes Cabin which takes not only the sons and daughters of Hermes but also the neglected children of all other gods. The main antagonist to that series was a son of Hermes, later on the counselor (head of house) for Hermes gets 'screen time' as well. Percy spends a good bit of the first book in the Hermes cabin before being claimed.
I'm a Hufflepuff but I don't feel like a left-over at all. I think Hufflepuff is special too. It's a house (almost) full of kind, hardworking, nice people. Who wouldn't want to be a part of a community like that? There aren't much notable alumnis but I think that's because Hufflepuffs don't value fame at all. Most probably would rather live quietly and peacefully instead of leading a life full of adventure and mystery just to have their names known by everyone.
@Deezy Ankh Any animal lover is always going to get placed into hufflepuff because the quizzes are designed that way because of Newt. If you choose the animal options on every question it seems it automatically put you into hufflepuff
While I dont think I would have ever considered Hufflepuff as a house, I think they have the most amazing looking Common Room! They all look great, but the coziness and warmth of Hufflepuffs Common Room is just breathtaking! I can imagine spending damn near all day in there lol
From what I understand, Hermione was not put in Ravenclaw because, while she was very intelligent, she possessed a different kind of intelligence. She was book smart, but lacked the creativeness and out of the box thinking of most Ravenclaws. Translation: Because the plot required it.
true but also she values bravery and what is right and wrong over being intellectual so I think Gryffindor makes sense
@Vm888 that’s probably the best and simplest reason to argue she’s a gryff. I’d also add that rave class are a more open minded kind of intellectual (Luna being an extreme example) whereas hermione is a more stubborn intellectual (ie not very willing to learn in trelawneys class bc she deems it hogwash). But also.. yeah it certainly helps the plot that she’s gryff 🤣
@Vm888 Yeah, she was pretty much dead set on freeing the house elves from slavery, even though both the wizarding community and even the elves themselves tried repeatedly to explain to her that they did not want to be free and that they actually enjoyed their life of servitude. Even after Dobby was freed from the Malfoy's, he still insisted on working under slavery conditions when Dumbledor offered him a job at Hogwarts.
I mean.. u can still be smart but also brave? Not like you’re either one or the other maybe she was just more brave
Don’t forget the hat takes into consideration what you want. Harry could have been slytherin but he wanted gryffindor.
When Hogwarts Legacy becomes a hit, I think a sequel set after the events of Harry Potter will be great. It will be great to watch Harry Potter & his friends' achievements written in books, shown in portraits.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I am glad that we get to explore Hogwarts without Harry Potter or any of his generation. It leaves you more free to explore the world and build your own story, instead of just following someone else's.
@K4Z4Y I agree but it also limits you in some degree. No matter what you do. you can't change much or have a large impact on the wizarding world, because none of this is mentioned in the Harry Potter series. No matter how you behave, the overall state of things will be the same
I honestly don’t want any sequels that are after the series, they’ll find a way to ruin it. I love that this is an independent story set in that world.
i took that HP test more then once, and always came up slytherin and while i am a proud Slytherin, i can't help but admire the hufflepuffs common room
it reminds me of a hobbit hole, warm and cozy with plenty of food nearby!
Placed in Slytherin everytime I take the tests, and while I say I am one when asked, and proud of it, I'm kinda jealous and leaning towards choosing Ravenclaw simply based on that absolutly beautiful common area.
ravenclaws and slytherins have a lot of overlap. I get a mix based on which tests I take, but I think for the aesthetic I'm gonna go with Ravenclaw
I've been a Ravenclaw in every test I've done and have always liked those results, but when it comes to these designs, Slytherin is probably my favourite for its dark, intriguing and mysterious air. You can really hear the echo of guttural mermaid cries reverberate between these walls. I also like the Ravenclaw common room, but while its well lit and spacious atmosphere fits the "room for creative thinking", intellectual enlightenment etc. theme quite well, it also comes across as just a little bit lifeless to me personally.
I also really like Hufflepuff for its plant and wood theme; it's probably my second favourite even before Ravenclaw. However, all these three are essentially very well made, and you can tell how careful they were in their creative choices.
This is all the more obvious in contrast with Gryffindor, which really stands out, in my opinion, for its relative lack in creative licence. They just had to copy a lot from the movies, it was just shown too many times. It's by far the most boring of them all, and not just because I already knew it.
As a slytherin who gets ravenclaw in tests too, i think the major point separating us is this: Slytherins see knowledge & wits as resources/useful elements to achieve their means while ravenclaws learn for the love of learning.
Ravenclaw’s common room is OK, Slithering’s is way cooler, and awesome. Oh, Slithering always
I get hald Slytherin and half ravenclaw.
I love this ... I never read the books, so I never fully understood the housing system .... the films basically make up seem like Gryffindor is the best, Slytherin are evil and Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are there as filler houses for the less important students. This game gives value to all houses🤩
I'll be a Slytherin all the way though most likely have qualities of other houses. I can't wait to see the Slytherin Dorms and Common Room. Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Depending on how old Phineas is in this game. Plus my favorite character is head of Slytherin and teaches Potions at the time Harry went to school. 😆
The older I become, the more respect I have for Helga Hufflepuff and her approach. A true coach and a leader who values her students for who they are.
Honestly hufflepuff and Griffindor have a lot of relation. I’m proud to be a Hufflepuff , patience and loyalty are powerful virtues of maturity.
Yup. Listening to this video and looking at their hall, i am leaning towards Hufflepuff.
I'm a Slytherin to the bone, but the only other house in the books and in the game pr I like is Hufflepuff. Gryffindors are a bunch of smug jocks, and Ravenclaws are snooty academics. The only houses that preference pragmatism are Slytherin and Hufflepuff.
Team hufflepuff!
i honestly dont get why ppl look down on hufflepuff. it takes more power to be kind then it does to be mean.
Always been a hard-core Hufflepuff, the fact that it's got earth as its element is awsome to me, didn't know that before. Biomimoc architecture is also a favorite of mine, wood elf and treant type stuff always been my jam.
Hoping I can make some kinda tank build for this game
Every test I've taken has put me in Hufflepuff, so that's the one I'll be picking. Raven Claw would be my second choice, but Hufflepuff really suits me and I love the dorm. My only regret is if the houses offer special magic or bonuses to Elements as I love using Electricity which would almost certainly be tied to Air magic. Fingers crossed it's all story and cosmetic differences rather than gameplay.
Hufflepuff's house has such a cute story and is very aesthetically pleasing
Not being a huge Harry Potter fan but really looking forward to play this game I decided to take some quizzes. For me it was raven claw, so I figure first time through that’s what I will choose. Thanks for the break down!!
I love the ceilings in the ravenclaw room, it looks so elegant and pretty. Everything I want in a house 💙
yea, while I love the fact slytherin has underwater windows (whitch ive always wanted) and the earthy feel of hufflepuff. My love for astronomy has me choose Ravenclaw as my favorite I also love how neat it is.
They should have you fill out a character survey to let the hat choose for you.
That very well may end up being an option.
They do if u did the test on the Wizarding world page. I got ravenclaw twice. So, ravenclaw it is.
(Edit: it also offers account linking so I'd think it'll put me in my house from the test 🤷🏿)
you can link your wizarding world account to your wb games account and it will let you play as your given house automatically
yes let the hat choose!!!!!
You still need to be able to pick a house manually, though. Otherwise people will just follow guides on what to pick depending on what house they wanna be in.
Most likely going for Ravenclaw. I'd say it most closely aligns with my values, and I really like the common room. Slytherin has a really nice one as well.
Always wanted to be a Slytherin. Sure I appreciate things like Hard Work and Creativity but once I saw Slytherin in the first movie I knew immediately that's the house I want to be in.
It's the house I got sorted in. Take the pottormore test, but answer truthfully.
@Glenn Already did, sorted me into Slytherin 3 times.
I'm a Gyriffindor, but apart of me wants to be in Ravenclaw... I like both of their aesthetics. For my Dark Wizard playthrough... I'll go Slytherin.
But of course, if I choose Hufflepuff, our motto's gonna to be, "We don't care, we don't give a shit... We do what we want!!!" 🍯🦡
*All the Chaos!!*
What I want, is the freedom to be in Gryffindor but choose to be a dark wizard anyway.
😂
@William Scott have you played yet? I get a Xbox for this today!!! Raven claw for life lol
@William Scott I wish you good ventures brother! I want that bad ass winter coat from the beginning! I can’t imagine ollivaders sells winter apparel 🥹
@William Scott steams cool tho guy lol
the common rooms for Slytherin and Hufflepuff were definitely shown the must love in my opinion, especially that door animation with the snake rising to expose the door. that was awesome to watch.
"The emblematic animal is, you probably guessed it by now, the snake." Yeah but I also thought Gryffindor's animal should've been a gryphon and Ravenclaw's should've been a Raven. So at this point Slytherin's could've been an elephant.
I wouldve guess a slyther so i was real surprised when he said snake.
They're about as subtle as a Elephant, so it would make sense.
Eagle claws are black. So ravenclaw makes sense in a stupid way.
Ravenclaw can also be "raven claw", or a black talon. Like how someone might be described as "raven haired", that doesn't mean they have ravens for hair, or that their hair belongs to a raven, but rather it's a descriptor. And some eagles do in fact have black talons.
I'll grant you Gryffindor though.
In all likelihood, in universe the house animals likely stemmed from the code of arms of the founders, or animals they thought most reflected their values, rather than "this fits with my name best!"
Wait is not a puff?
This is about to bring back so much nostalgia. Still remember seeing part 2 at a midnight premiere and it felt like the end of an era.
I always end up getting sorted into Ravenclaw, but I have an affinity for Hufflepuff. That common room is gorgeous.
The common rooms look better than I even could have imagined. Each has a beautiful theme and a grand design to make it special. Slytherin has its dark and brooding architecture with the incredible window into the depths of the lake. Hufflepuff has its warm and cosy architecture which looks elegant, a strange blend of Hobbit and Elven architecture from Lord of the Rings. Ravenclaw is majestic with its clean and regal air and beautiful starry silver/gold ceiling which screams magic. Gryffindor is stately and almost feels a little medieval in design with suits of armour and a wood arched ceiling which is incredible. Unfortunately its the only one I feel didn't amaze me though you can't blame the devs for that. You see so much of it in the films and books they were kinda constrained with what they could do.
yeah I feel like they could have done a lot with Gryffindor. , but they did amazing even though they had to follow the movies lead.
From the first time I saw Harry Potter as a kid, I knew in my heart that I was definitely a Ravenclaw. 💙💙💙
From what i recall reading on the official FAQ for the game, it seems like we will be able to take the Sorting Quiz in the Harry Potter Fan Club and link that to the game. Could give us a more 'authentic' feel to getting sorted into whatever house we got from the quiz
It's cool to realise that Voldemort's using of the houses treasures as horcruxes stopped at gryffindor as he was not worthy enough to pull the sword from the hat
I mean, one theory is that many of the attacks on the Order between when Pettegew revealed the Potter's location and their deaths were attempts to engineer a situation where the sword would show itself so that Voldemort could use it as his final horcux with Harry's death.
I believe it was Molly's brother's deaths, which occured right before the end of the war, that were suggested as the point where his plan worked(as they managed to take like 10 people with them despite being captured).
But yes, his inability to summon it himself certainly made things more... messy.
L, take. The sword only absorbs what would make it stronger. Turning it into a horcrux wouldn't work because that'd make it weaker.
This was a great video, getting to see the rooms while you elaborated on the history and Philosophies of the houses.
In my case I was surprised by the house I was sorted into and this was after taking the test multiple times and trying more elaborate tests. A majority of the time it put me in Slytherin and an extremely few times Gryffindor. In the end, reading about Slytherin helped me uncover parts of myself I had been ignoring. I most definitely fit in there.
Ravenclaw baby! Their common room looks amazing in the game! I can’t wait to play!
Hell yeah 🦅
I've always been a Gryffindor and I won't be shamed by people calling it the "poser" house just because Harry was in it. I think I'll end up playing it last though after exploring the other houses and the storylines associated. Who knows, I may even be a bad Gryffindor to break the mold.
I'm Griffindor, but I'm truly obsessed with the Hufflepuff common room because I love plants. 😍
all the common rooms are beautiful in their own way. But I’ll always choose Gryffindor ❤🦁
Really great video giving a recap/refresher of the houses while showing the gameplay footage on repeat so we can take in the common rooms/dorms as much as possible. I'm definitely going to have a very hard time deciding which house to go with in the game, because all of the common rooms/dorms look fantastic. I'm hoping that the game might have enough unique content per house to justify multiple playthroughs with each house (and it would be great if the game allows us to have multiple character saves at once).
Thanks a lot!
It would be so cool if before going to Hogwarts, you have an event in which everything you do would determine the house regardless of preference, so the player should do different play-throughs to go into different houses
All of those common rooms are amazing. They did a great job!
The Ravenclaw's common room looks amazing. Though base on what I usually do in video games, I'd probably be sorted into Slytherin lol.
I’m torn between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. On the one hand, I do value Hufflepuff’s traits, plus yellow is one of my favorite colors. On the other, blue is my absolute favorite color, and the Ravenclaw common room looks cool. Personality-wise, I think I’m more of a Hufflepuff, though Ravenclaw is a close second.
I'm a proud Hufflepuff but its hard to pick a favorite common area. They did a fantastic job with each of them. They're so unique from each other and brimming with personality. They're the kind of spaces that are fun just to exist in.
Go Honey Badgers!!
Sylthern
TallDryGlass i'm the opposite haha always felt like a ravenclaw but the hufflepuff room is making things hard for me..
@Edellea same here
That was a very hufflepuff comment, lol. Can't wait to play, Slytherin house for me.
The reason why I love the Slytherin House so much is because of Severus Snape. 💚
I'll probably end up in Hufflepuff for my first playthrough. But Ravenclaws common room is absolutely gorgeous.
I think I will start with Ravenclaw for my first play through. So excited for this one. Thank you for the great videos!
I imagine the sorting hat will likely make recommendations for your characters based on the builds but ultimately let you choose which house you want to be a part of. I cannot wait for some of the gameplay videos since I am hoping there is something there that would make me consider giving this game a shot. I may not be a fan of the actual series but there are different criteria to like a game. I mean I have never been a fan of StarWars movies in the least but I have vastly enjoyed the old Lucas Arts games from Bioware and Co (RIP) and am definitely looking forward to my time with the Fallen Order game. But the combat so far is steep hurdle just because of the nature of the IP, I am just not into waving wands from afar and pelting magic at opponents with sponge like health bars. Its one of the reasons I just don't care for that Forespoken game... even the Infamous games allowed a little more involvement in combat than just staying at range and I am hoping this game has something similar. I would be fine if I could use the broom to sweep enemies off their feet instead of just using it a traversal tool. Frankly, it would help if the combat was more clevel puzzles than simply depleting a health bar. Like figuring out a core weakness and using that to entrap them.
I’ve fallen in love with the Ravenclaw common room and the Hufflepuff common room too, but I’ll never ever leave my house of Slytherin
They should add an option to let the hat choose. I think it’s really cool they’re letting players pick their house but I honestly didn’t know what to pick and was relying on the hat lol
Yeah I think so too, but for now you could go with your test result on Pottermore :)
It would be cool if they had a test like in Wizard101 if you know that game.
Games not even out yet..how did you pick a house? Lmao
Agree, esp if they have stat based creative system.
Taking a test online at wizardng world you can let it define for you via a link to the website and the game.
What if at the beginning of the game, like the first 30 minutes, the story somehow incorporates player-decision based tasks where they have four options and each relates to a house. That way when they arrive at the sorting hat, then it can use the players decisions to base the decision off of.
Ravenclaw commonroom looks really cool, but I think I actually wanna do an evil run first, which is something that I never do in RPG's. In fact, I always end up being a good guy character, even when replaying. Time to try something new! I'm going for Slytherin, and I'm gonna specialize in unforgivable curses and see what happens
Why not do an evil run as Gryffondor 🐷
I pre ordered this months ago, back when the release date was in December. Looks pretty good. Pumped for the open world
I would be a mix of Ravenclaw and Slytherin leaning more towards Ravenclaw side but only just slightly BUT I gotta say I absolutely adore that Hufflepuff common room
I wonder how the chamber of secrets, room of requirement, and sorcerers stone chamber will work, especially for the chamber of secrets, seeing as it wasnt found until Harry’s time
it’s important to note that the sorting hat can also sort you where it thinks you’d benefit the most from. If you’re a bookworm nerd it may sort you into gryff to teach you to get out of your shell
Neville Longbottom is the perfect example
I love this more than most explanations
So naturally Neville is Hufflepuff?
That explains how the hell Peter Pettigrew was a Gryffindor 😂
It’s funny because when I was a kid I thought I was a Ravenclaw the quiz told me that that is what house I belong to. I retook the quiz about a year ago after some life changes and now I am apparently a Hufflepuff
I truly hope this game is going to be as good if not better than what we’ve seen. We could replay the game multiple times..please be good!!!
I used the Wizarding World app to help me decide my house, and it sorted me into Slytherin, and I do see which traits I have that match those of Slytherin. I have been cunning, I have shown ambition and determination. When the situation is important, I show leadership. And I’m definitely resourceful
Whenever I think of the different houses and people talk about Hufflepuff traits I think about it a lot. Determined and fair play make me think of them as jocks. Determined = works out a lot, fair play = sports.
Now that we know that we will have multiple save files, it makes it a far less stressfull choice since you can just play the game in every house while keeping all the previous playthroughs. big ups
Quizzes in the past often sorted me into Slytherin but I’ve always identified with Helga Hufflepuffs values more. Not sure which I’ll pick but will be one of those two.
I'm definitely a Slytherin.. but the hufflepuff dorm looks so nice to me.
Same.
Slytherin and Hufflepuff solidarity 👊
I'm more Huffflepuff but Slyherin as close second so I don't know LOL I love the creepy vibes of slytherin house
I’m a hufflepuff, loyal to it till I die, and my favorite common room is definitely ours 🥹 but I’m totally playing as a slytherin and doing the opposite of what I would do just to see how it goes haha
i have traits from both Slytherin and Hufflepuff (moreso Slytherin though) but adore Ravenclaws dorm... heck
Spot on to say you can have qualities of multiple houses. I always test Ravenclaw, because the creativity is spot on, but I don't recognise the whole individuality part of it as my biggest passion is helping people (through arts and other creative means). Many people love the chique common room but I think it looks too cold and I'm definitely drawn in by the cosy Hufflepuff scenery. Moreover, I am worried that by choosing my house I get a lot of knowledge quests while I definitely want to save magical beasts and people. I hope beasts rescue quests aren't limited to Hufflepuff.
I hope one day they make a single 3 hour movie of the founding of hogwarts and the battle between the slytherin and gryffindor. Ewan McGregor as Godric Gryiffindor and Andrew Lincoln as Salazar Slytherin
I was team Griffindor this entire time, but now I wanna join Slytherin Just because that common room door looks amazing and I want to watch it forever
Me too
That and the fact that Merlin himself is among their alumnus. It'd be so neat if there was a quest line that allowed you to follow in his footsteps.
Before my daughter was born, I border-lined between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and now that I am a parent - I get placed into Gryffindor.
I'll choose Ravenclaw but will definitely find a way to get those dancing cactus plants from the Hufflepuff Common Room into the Room of Requirement.
Gryffindor's common room reminds me of a tavern, Hufflepuff is like your grandma's living room, Ravenclaw has a library esthetic, and Slytherin's common room is more like a ballroom for a cocktail party.
rather the king's tavern
definitely. i felt that Ravenclaw also has a sterile science lab aesthetic.
now thats funny AF. Who doesnt love a party though?
what? no. gryffindor looks like a cozy living room while hufflepuff looks like a hobbit inspired tavern. you got it all twisted
Gryffindor looks like a dorm. Hufflepuff looks almost identical to gridania in ffxiv, Raven claw looks like a castle in dark souls 3, and slytherin just looks like an old manor or castle or mansion
the quiz i've taken got me on the ravenclaw side, and it's values actually ressonate quite well with my personality, but the way that Slytherin common room reveals itself is dope as f*** ( so seems to be the common room as well ).
Also, i really love the coziness of Hufflepuff's room.
I thought it was a no brainer for me, but this got me 2nd guessing 😅
This game looks mind blowing for Harry Potter fans. I can see remember years ago, getting hyped about the supposed leaks. Now we have a full game with hogwarts and your own wizard.
Ravenclaw is always what my quizzes say. Which is spot on to who I feel I resonate with most. Slytherin is the 2nd where I feel I pull some secondary qualities from.
It should be like Kotor's Jedi path where the masters pose a problem and all for a solution
I always end up in gryfindor. However, I took pottermore/Wizarding world quiz twice just because the second is Ravenclaw. I prefer these houses myself so I like this. Thanks for the info about the houses it's cool info
It’s interesting each common room exemplified the main attribute of each house
Gryfindor shows the portraits of powerful people and a castle-like motif to inspire strength.
Hufflepuff is a home. It seems she was a mother to those who were left behind. The soft wood and plants give a very homely feel.
Revenclaw’s is a library/observatory. The natural world is observed, mimicked, and pushed.
Slytherin is a Greco-Roman forum where the brightest minds planned and plotted with a touch of Gothic art motifs.
i am usually a Slytherin in quizzes but the fan club one tied to the game put me in Hufflepuff which i think does really suit me just as much as Slytherin does
Looking forward to this opening up tomorrow. Based on these descriptions, Ravenclaw is the house for me.
Looks to be a great game. It's a true shame they didn't make it online and MP. Would have been a great online series akin to Destiny.
I have taken the Pottermore test multiple times (made multiple accounts) and I most frequently get Slytherin, distant second is Ravenclaw. My family was not surprised in the least bit.
I LOVE the Hufflepuff common room, all the plants and just that cozy nature vibe. It's like being in a fairy cove or, as is the popular comparison, a Hobbit hole. If I could be in Slytherin but have the Hufflepuff common room, I totally would. Thankfully, the underwater dungeon is also super cool :)
I hope that the four house really change the game experience so I can play that game for different time (after like few month or a year) with a kind fresh experience 😁
I can't decide between ravenclaw and hufflepuff. Both common rooms itch my scratch, aka either underground like earthy/nature feel and the other giving the vibe of much closer to the sky,and the whole elegant and celestial aesthethics.Everything always suggests me that I fit with Ravenclaw, but man, I also really like my hufflepuff folks
Well what house do you actually belong in?
Same with me. I can't decide between the two.
@dust Ravenclaw but I like both. But now when I think about it,I will go with it, as it seems that there's no reavenclaw companion coming to the game,so I will fill that spot. And ofc I simply love the common room so high up.I will try hufflepuff on my second playthrough tho.If I still start to think about it again on release, I will just flip the coin haha
I feel the exact same! Except I fit more with Hufflepuff, but I'm a very close Ravenclaw. I want to play both, I guess I'll go with Hufflepuff first.
Same, I love and want to be sorted into Ravenclaw but all the quizzes I have taken most of the time sort me into Hufflepuff. 😂
My first Pottermore quiz (on the old website) gave me Ravenclaw - the new one aswell. I've picked Ravenclaw in every HP game and i intend to do it this time again - but the Huffelpuff common room is STUNNING. I'm seriously reconsidering- the plants, the cozy wooden interior, the whole atmosphere of it is just mHH 10/10
Do it, break the mold. Then if New Game + comes out, pick Ravenclaw to experience that side of Hogwarts
Do the wizardmore quiz. It's a bit more in-depth
Taking the tests I always get Hufflepuff, but I think it will be a toss up between that and sitherin
Id say slytherin looks insanely cool with its rocky ceiling , and dark atmosphere, also hufflepuff looks very calming, either one of those.
Random but I never knew Ravenclaw was also representing creativity, I always thought it's "for the smart nerdy people only" so I picked Slytherin instead (and the official sorting website put me in Slytherin). Maybe my Ravenclaw era begins now.
All I can say is as a Ravenclaw tried and true is thank god that they got the mascot and colors right.
Hufflepuff fits my values, the best common room location by the kitchens, the nicest looking common room, the friendliest ghost, and the most badass animal.
i agree with all of that... except the last part... how is a badger more badass than a lion or eagle or snake? its probably the worst animal of all of them... that said im still going hufflepuff =D
@Arcanum Elite Ironically that's the point of the badger. Helga Hufflepuff championed the students the others underestimated. Badgers look nonthreatening but they are actually one of the most vicious animals. They've been known to purposely get poisoned by snakes, play dead, and then wake up and eat them.
@Jare that may be true... but the name "hufflepuff" sounding incredibly silly as well as having the least cool animal of the bunch basically sorta makes them the joke class... i mean i get thats the idea... but out of all of them hufflepuff is the least cool IMO... that said i still think hufflepuff values and common room are the best... even love the colors (black and gold/yellow) but the badger and name are just... ehh
And probably the best weed
@Arcanum Elite I mean being badass is not really supposed to be the point of the house, it’s as the other person said the soft exterior is supposed to be a disguise. It is the least badass because it tries to be to catch you off guard.
I suppose I should choose Slytherin as it turns out I've been apparently talking to snakes my whole life - who knew?!
Now this is a good comment :-D
Some are sharks not snakes
😂😂😂 I laughed too hard at this 😅
You did. You would know. You're talking to them.
Most people I know think I'd be in Ravenclaw but I've completed a few different quizzes and ended up with Slytherin. Felt like their common room was a bit gloomy but then again, looking at my home habits of hating any bright lights at night, it kinda fits.
It could be the cunning that they are mistaking as Ravenclaw, like he said in the video, as Slytherin's are often cunning and Ravenclaw's are often witty, I can see how it would be easy for them to overlap. What do you feel more drawn to/value more?
Despite being the smallest, Gryffindor has the best common room by far (in my opinion).
Wow! That was a beautifully narrated and edited video! Just made me more excited about the game! Thank you!
i love the way they all look but Ravenclaw really stands out to me so that's what i choose.
I'm gonna go for a Harry Potter look and choose Gryffindor because I want to, but the cozy room of Gryffindor would instantly make me pick it anyways
As a proud Slytherin, I can't wait to soak up the ambiance of the common room! I can't wait to play this, it looks fantastic!
🖤🐍💚
Don't forget, those of us who've already been registered with The Harry Potter Fan Club forever now will be able to take our existing house and wand with us! 😊
You get your wand? Sweeeeet! I was just scrolling, talking to someone about that. I got black walnut, 12.5 inches, unyielding flexibility, with a dragon core. What'd you get?
a lil bummed there's no PvE. What a sight to see your friends join up in a wand duel against a formidable foe.
I don't really care about Hufflepuff as a house per se, but as a lifelong fan of LOTR, you are absolutely right about their dorm looking like something straight out of the Shire. It is absolutely gorgeous, I wouldn't mind living there irl. I might choose Hufflepuff just for that reason alone.
i’m definitely going for slytherin if we get the chance to choose our house, because according to the quiz, i’m a slytherin :)
I am definitely a hufflepuff! And my husband is a Slytherin. We Can't wait for this game to come out :)
I've always identified as more of a ravenclaw, but hufflepuff's common room is just too awesome to pass on
I too identify as Ravenclaw and seeing that common room cemented my feeling. I'm absolutely going Ravenclaw. Though, I fully expect to befriend the Hufflepuff. Hufflepuffs seem the sort you'd always want as a friend.
Riiiiiight!?
@ZeepZerp I agree completly. I am a Ravenclaw at heart, but I love Helga's way of thinking and the values and people who belong to her house.
I always waffled between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. I’m not sure which one I’d lean more towards
im at least playing the game four times so I can get all the houses experience. They are all to good to pass on
Raven Claw is definitely my whole personality, and my confirmed quiz class so I’m all in there, and the ravenclaw house is impeccable 🌊
im thinking Slytherin and Ravenclaw if there is elemental aspects to each ill probably go with Slytherin, but to be more effective in battle i feel the intelligence is going to give people a leg up
I always thought it's no wonder many slytherins turn evil, I mean, they have to chill in a dark basement while the "left over" hufflepuffs get the the most beautiful fantasy treehouse lol. It's a hard decision. I'm not really a slytherin, but green is my favorite color. I guess I'll choose hufflepuff because of the commonroom, it's just too good :D
