Stair design advice, I think a photo accent wall would be a really neat and personal touch. You could do an accent wall color and photos or just the photos.
I come from a family of interior designers and my grandma always told me “only put a mirror in a place you love the reflection” so if you love the view when a mirror is placed there, a mirror could also work!!!
The black kitchen accents are a win! We have an all white kitchen with wood and black accents. We love it, as do our guests assuming they aren’t just being kind haha.

Newport is beautiful! Welcome to the OC! I’d definitely put a mirror on that area after the first flight of stairs! Depending on your vision, maybe some plants? Ugh; you get to experience the best part about moving; decorating! Definitely suggest a mood board first to put your vision together, it makes the entire process so much more easier! Beautiful home! The stairwell would look amazing with a geometric wood feature wall!

First of all, WELCOME HOME! Secondly, as a couple who also moved from a one bedroom one bathroom apartment to a 3 bedroom townhome, bathrooms are such a blessing lol. Thirdly design suggestions for the half bath, you could totally put a nice large platter on that shelf with black pebbles, a scented candle. In the cabinet below, plenty of extra toilet paper but make sure to have poopy spray! As a guest having to use someone else’s potty is embarrassing if they have to go poop. For the kitchen handles, yes, you always want to have all handles to make throughout the house and the black looks so nice in a white kitchen. Another suggestion would be to put some black kitchen bar stools for that beautiful Long Island and a nice dark wood table with black medal legs would be a great statement piece to tie it all together. Love watching y’all’s channel! I’m living vicariously through you both! Enjoy, from Texas!

I love the house! It’s so pretty and is the perfect size for two people and will continue to be the perfect size as you grow your family! I feel like pictures on the walls going up the stairs or a mirror in the middle wall would look really good. Also, matte black hardware in the kitchen would tie in any black you want and also look great on the white cabinets and drawers. The same style of hardware as well gives it a modern look for sure!

Also, when you were talking about the silver finishes in the kitchen, they’re called hardware, you can easily go to Home Depot and check out the various ones they have. You can choose the black hardware for the cabinets, or gold, gold is really popular nowadays. We are building a home, that’s the only reason why I know what they’re called lol they used to be called in my mind “thingymajingees” haha again, congrats!

It's beautiful! Can't wait to see what you do with the place. One word of advice... Don't do too much black furniture/decor. It will make the space look too cold. The warmth in the wood floors and carpet helps warm the look of the space even now, and I suggest keeping that in mind when selecting furnishings. Stay blessed!
