A New Generation of Pokemon Cards is Here...Scarlet & Violet!

As someone who tries to collect every reverse holo card, the double reverse cards in a pack is such a nice touch. I also LOVE the pattern on the reverse cards as well.

Scarlet and Violet look so different. Love how pokemon wants to go a different direction, gotta keep making changes to make it fresh.

Man this is so exciting!!! Rev please do a binder completion on this set, we can never get enough of you opening these packs

Gen 2 was the first game I played in the series and Crystal brought me into the whole series. Now looking in Gen 9 the games and cards changed so much!

I really like the new silver border in the cards I think they make them tell you that the Pokémon company was taking a big step into a new Direction with the anime with two new protagonists and the games being open world and the new Pokémon company I’m kinda interested to see what they do next

Sucks how dull the regular ex look but at least all the other are looking super nice besides some of the ones you had with quality issues. Still hyped for the set just hoping I get my chase card when I get to open it. Thank you for this amazing early look video!

I'm so hyped for scarlet violet! The pulls were insane. Its always so nice to be able to get a preview of soon to be released pokemon products.

Its a great looking set! I know I will miss the yellow borders, but I'm also excited to see where they take these next couple of generations of cards.

These packs are so well-balanced now, it’s amazing.

I love the artworks in this set and the new direction Pokemon is going!! Changes happen and we have to adapt, but I’m always thrilled with what Pokémon is doing and how it evolves into the future!!

I wasn't allowed Pokemon when I was growing up, but now that I have kids of my own that are into them I decided to start my own collection last week. Love your enthusiasm and can't wait to open some packs of my own!

i’m intrigued to see the market value with every pack having a holo. on one end it’s very satisfying opening packs and seeing the holos, on the other hand it might make the chase less satisfying

After release weekend, I had about 75% of the set complete. I opened one box, two ETBs, a couple of the 3 packs and a couple of the single pack blisters for context. The cards I’m missing aren’t hyper expensive compared to previous sets so it’s a very completable set.

Cannot wait for this set to drop next week! The wait has been real haha

I definitely like the way they changed up the pull rates lol it gets tiring buying packs and getting absolutely nothing kinda reminds me of the OG ex era stuff like even if you didn’t get the big pull you got some good looking cards and were mostly happy

Maybe it's just me, but I kind of like the silver boarders over the yellow. Plus, the new rarity symbols I think are a nice change.

Instantly fell in love with the new borders! Also the arts of the cards are really nice in this collection, so I can't wait to get my hands on one of these! And since the arts look so nice, even if I don't pull any EX card, I can still appreciate the nice drawings. Win-win for me 😊

I know some people aren’t super happy with some of the changes made in this generation of cards, but I’m really excited! I think the amount of changes is shocking but once we’re used to them the cards will look better than ever!

Man the illustration rare for this set must be hard to get huh,sick opening tho and i hope the packs from scarlet and violet onwards become like this!

I like changes they made, centerings seem to be a lot better.

The rates with this gen feel so good.. 3 booster boxes 2 gardevoir alts and a miradon.
Feels like special illustrations are one per box
