- Apples new iPhone 15 Pro Max FAILS my Durability Test! Grab a Ghost case for your iPhone HERE www.dbrand.com/ghost-case I freakin' love Titanium. It is the COOLEST metal on the planet! When Apple said their new iPhone 15 Pro Max was going to be made with Grade 5 Titanium - I was flabbergasted. However... it turns out that the back glass of the Titanium iPhone 15 pro max isnt quite ready for prime time. Something is wrong with Apples new iPhone 15 Pro max.

Mr Rig can I get a phone please ❤️🙏🥺
Apple never fails to disappoint their customers ❤😂
I wish i could get one for my s22
Just got my 15 pro… luckily it survived.
Ok
Damn that break was shocking 😲
😂😂😂

My God, I can't believe how easily that was smashed. I'm absolutely steering clear of this iPhone. The whole Titanium marketing going on has the strong sniff of a scam.
Lol maybe you didn’t have any plans of getting close to one but I guess this video made you feel good about yourself. I’ve the natural titanium sine release and it hasn’t snapped in half, because I don’t walk around torching it then bending it. These videos are for entertainment only as no one walks around torching their phones and bending them as they use them.
@shuggfilmzandstudio2354 a break like that could easily happen if you sat on the phone with it in your pocket or fell down.
This is still a poor result.
@MAXHALO369 Gaming do you blowtorch your phone before putting it in your pockets because that’s exactly what Zack did. If you do then phones in general ain’t for you, if not then you have nothing to worry about. And have seen a lot of bend test that didn’t break the phone because they didn’t blowtorch them before the test.
@Shugg Filmz And Studio, he was using a smaller lighter, instead of a blowtorch, which he said had no effect on the phone. He wasn't blowtorching it, he was just heating it up a little bit
Even he was shocked at how easily the phone shattered lol
Ik
yea iphones are usually one of the most structurally sound phones on the market. They never break or bend, and they have never shattered by bending them.
His shock was best part of video.
@mohyea they wont break or stop working if you drop it but it will usually get hella cracks and breaks in the screen or glass
The amount of strength you need to do that tho… it’s not something that’s just gonna happen randomly
As someone who can't afford to buy these - such videos are satisfying and patience inducing. Keep up the good work Zach.
As someone who worked hard to earn it. this video was pure nightmare
There only $1300
thats rent@Mr Xaphan
Modular back glass at the cost of durability. That's innovation right there.
Still figuring out ways to scam money off of their loyal customer base LMAO.
@Trevor Hallsome people are born to be fanboys/girls
@Dupa12 don't worry, when they encounter bad enough negative experience they will yell how bad apple is louder than anybody else.
a
Now we see why they made the back glass more easily removable for repair lol
Create problem Sell solution😂🤣
Jerry popped that Pro Max of no time at all. This was a great review, practical.
Practical? How many times in everyday life have you put two pressure points on the back of your phone and tried to flex it?
@Muchi Dromedary. Lean over a table with your phone in your pocket and you could easily create that exact scenario, or accidently sit on it with it in your back pocket. If your work is labour intensive the possibilities are nearly endless.
@muchidromedary.7368 Anything can happen where pressure is placed on your phone, life isn't perfect. It may fall between a car's seat, it may be in your back pocket and you sit on something, it may be in your pocket and you lean against something. These aren't wild ideas but now you risk shattering your glass.
New view here. In your experience would the back glass breaking be consistent across all pro maxs. Is it possible it was a fluke?
Thank god I see that the max is too big
if I had to take a guess the titanium was a fix for an unusually breakable design. They went as far as they could, and then made the glass back “removable for repair”. I think most people would sacrifice a small increase in thickness for guaranteed durability. But apples technology superiority, or lack there of, probably drove them to make this compromise for marketing efforts. Kind of shortsighted for the highest margin product you sell.
Interestingly, titanium and aluminum have the same yield strength, but titanium has a higher tensile strength. What this means is that aluminum and titanium will start plasticly (laymans terms: permanently) deforming at the same pressure, but break at different pressures.
What this means for the phone is that the glass would shatter at relatively the same pressure regardless of the case material.
Call me crazy, but I think it'd be fine with just not having a glass back. It'd be thinner *and* more durable since no one's breaking the titanium.
Can you just speak in laymen’s terms, my goodness…
@MrFlarespeed
No way, really? You got a source for this mate?
@MrFlarespeed
So i am far from an expert, but i have visited a few websites questioning this. If its based upon comparing Grade 1 titanium to 6061 Aluminium Alloy right, in which case i see it making sense. But going by my source, then it seems comparing Aluminium 7075-T6 to TI-6AI-4V (Grade 5) as being the same on both yield and Tensile is completely off, as in TI-6AI-4V being 60-80% higher in both categories.
Should i be wrong, please enlighten me :)
That rear glass break is worrying. I often keep my phone in the back pocket of my jeans and whenever I kneel down, there is a lot of bend-pressure on the phone. I don't think the iPhone 15 Pro Max will survive my normal usage.
Remember how phones used to be indestructible? Apple is gay
People still using gay as an insult? What is it 2008? That’s embarrassing
@Cheyenne C whats wrong with using it as an insult , its litterally a definition in google
foolish, stupid, or unimpressive.
"he thinks the obsession with celebrity is totally gay"
@Cheyenne Ccrying about someone saying gay as an insult? What it is 2015?
I’m wondering if the heat from the lighter ruined the structural integrity of the back glass. That probably explains why the second one didn’t have that same problem.
U may be on to some
errado
o 15 pro max, por ser maior, tem menos rigidez no meio do que o 15 pro
I think the major flaw with the 15 pro and 15 pro max is the large hole for the wireless charging coil in the mid frame. Not only does it make the whole phone weaker, but also doesn’t absorb and distribute heat properly. The cheaper 15 and plus have a solid middle frame. Better design.
You always pay more for less with apple.
Super
I used to have that Evo 3D phone! It was an awful lot of fun to play with. I wish there were still phones brave enough to implement that feature that don't cost mad amounts of money.
Other reviewers are getting busy with explaining the camera and everything but here we have Zach, torturing the iPhone with a blow torch...and that's why we like this channel...
Same here😂😂
He crazy but it's good for buyers not me though
He has good reason. The lighter didn’t work
i'll be sure to think carefully about which phone i bought before i expose it to a blow torch.
All the other UAclipsrs are apple sellouts
Good to see the regular sized Pro model held up much better than the Pro Max
Oh, my - YES!
less surface area
@avery meaning less applicable torque
Zack, muito obrigado por você disponibilizar para nós brasileiros assitirem seus videos dublado! Video muito bom, como todos! Eu aceitaria este iPhone de presente mesmo sendo todo zoado 😂😂
My wife usually breaks her phones before a year and I thought that the iphone 15 pro max titanium feature could maybe bring a solution to this situation, but after seeing that crack, I returned the iphone 15 pro max I ordered, thank you for this educational video.
The back glass could be broken due to the big gab between itself and the round hole in the alluminum chasis, considering also that the Pro max has a depth of 8.3mm. on the other hand, a similar behaviour won't be found on the 15 plus which has a depth of 7.8mm, basically the glass fit on the chasis perfectly with zero gab.
I have a feeling this whole, new "USB-C" thing is gonna be a hit, once folks finally get word of it!
Wat? You're telling me this new groundbreaking connector is compatible with all devices? Apple is such a genius. I will happily pay 1500$ for this "USC-C" advanced technology thingy.
Naaaah, who would use that connector?
It would be if not for that stupid board in the center of the port!
If only someone had developed a port that didn’t have a PCB board just floating in the center held on by 1mm of attachment.
Apple: "Back glass replacements are now cheaper"
*Glass breaks 5x more*
In the end you'll end up paying 500 dollars anyway. Or just buy a new iPhone because the 15 is just 700 dollars :)
Or apple iphone 15 series back glass is cheap😂😂😂😂
More like we made it more cheap and weak so that you have to come to replace it
Weird how that works
And don’t forget “easier to replace” - it’s all adding up
As always thanks for showing how these phones do. I watched this when you released it. I showed today to my 14 year old who has a XR and who is, of course, dreaming for a new phone. Watching her freak out was so worth it, I should of taken a video and showed it.... LOL
Wow! Apple once again leading the world in ingenuity with introducing the world to type c charging cables! 👏
I had the red HTC one from boost mobile in high school. By far my favorite and most memorable phone. The speakers, looks, quality and performance and 8mp camera was just next level for the time. It really felt like something NEW.
I'm really happy they used the material with one of the best strength to weight ratios and managed to make it ten times more fragile then all the other models.
Strength to weight is nothing if the make it light enough to take away the “strength”.
Don’t buy it. Apple will miss you.
I don’t get the naggings about the weight of the past 3 generation iPhones that people had, my 14 Pro Max is the heaviest iPhone to ever exist and after 1 week of usage i was completely fine and comfortable with it, all of this weight and repairablity naggings made apple to switch from durable stainless steel to this crappy recycled aluminum, now we’re back at the iPhone 6 era durability again.🤦🏻♂️
It's the new glass design by the cameras, the corner pinched the glass when bent and it cracked. I wonder if apple could graduate the glass a bit around the camera bump to make it a little bit thicker to prevent that from happening.
Titanium isn't stiff. Stainless steel would've been better for the frame if you don't want it to bend. It wouldn't scratch as easily without a coating but honestly in normal use I'd be more worried about scratching the screen. So yeah titanium is great for watches or frames for glasses because of its light weight and scratch resistence but I don't see the point on phones.
Titanium is just light. It is amongst the least scratch resistant metals in consumer products. It is less scratch resistant than anodised aluminium. If you want scratch resistance get something made out of blade grade stainless steel like 440C.
love the ss look alot better than matte
When it comes to durability test i always prefer JerryRig's Vids. He never disappoint me🤗
I've never used skins on my phones....Do you think skins from dBrand could improve resistance of the back glass? I'm definitely getting the ghost cover
The replaceable extremely fragile glass back of the phone is genius, really.
I love how surprised and confused Jerry was as the back glass would break 😂
Our Babar is far better than Sachin, Rizwan is far better than Virat, Iftikhar is far better than Dhoni. Imam is far better than Sehwag. Shaheen is far better than Bumrah. Shadab is far better than Hardik. Rauf is far better than Siraj. 🏆 💪🏏
@Umar Akmalindian troll stop it
I went “uhhhhh….”
I'm also confused
How much pressure did you put in order for the back glass to break? I mean, is it possible to happen if you press it a little more in order to fit in a case? It seemed it happened really easy
Zack is simply the best durability tester.
My dad ensured I’d never break anything by being a psycho. Now every time I see someone breaking stuff it makes me gnash my teeth and feel uncomfortable.
But you made this very entertaining. Great discomforting video. Thanks.
Also I haven’t kept up with high-tech build quality much so it was incredible to see how much these devices can absorb/endure. I actually am amazed. I’ll definitely watch more.
It broke because of the size & stress, titanium is very durable, but the other parts are not equally durbale, they can't compensate & break eventually. If you ask me, it's a drawback, whenever we use titanium, the supportive components or parts should be very supportive or the above happens.
Thanks my friend. After several annual cash drops to apple, I will be skipping this generation. I am always on the fence come release time, but this review helped me EASILY forget about upgrading this year.
Imagine being a Apple repair specialist seeing this come in for repairs less than 24hrs after its release....
The whole thing will be swapped with a new iPhone for an exchange price. No repairs on this one tho.
I saw this within this first week with the iPhone 14 😂
@CGMe That's just nuts! There is a 2024 Mustang GT already totaled at Copart here in Atlanta... how!?!
@TrappsterBeats He not getting no replacement or refund.
u mean 3rd party repair shop right? apple repair haha
1:42 but wouldn’t the titanium chassie have a volume close to the sheet you were holding and therefore be relatively cheep? Or would you actually need to start with a block the size of the phone and remove the inside to make a chassie?
I think the 15 series is an experimental design for iphone's structural durability. Titanium-aluminum hybrid is definitely new and is certain for more errors such as this. Not ideal time to upgrade. For sure the 16 series would be the revamped version of this structural concept
It's not 😂. They purposefully did this so people would upgrade their phones more often. It's like saying a waste water treatment plant didn't test for lead in their water just to run 'an experiment'.
I would honestly rather pay 500 dollars for back glass that wouldn’t break even if I dropped the phone a lot than spending 200 on something that would shatter on one small bend
Honestly, a solid reason for why this happened could have just been a simple oversight on the part of apple. Most likely, the reason for this is that the harder, stiffer titanium, doesn't distribute the force the way that aluminum does, resulting in the glass giving way under even the slightest pressure.
Hi, I've been having an overheating problem on the 14 pro for about 3 weeks while it's charging. It reaches such a high temperature that it interrupts charging and then resumes it after a short time. I thought it was a battery problem, so I took it to an Apple service center where they changed it. However, the problem has not been solved, on the contrary. Some people tell me that it's normal, although in my opinion it's not, because if charging stops it means there's something abnormal. Do you think it could be a processor-related problem or something else? Could anyone who has a similar problem and maybe solved it help me?
That was satisfying to watch and another reason why I never buy Max anything.
Well aren't you a special boy. Good for you.
Almost as satisfying as your wig eh karim
and u prolly buy ultra everything
yes Karim, because here we see clearly regular everyday usage and accidental damage and no intentional abuse that would break every other device to pieces whatsoever.
@RandomUser well said. Exactly
Ok. The iPhone 15 PMax didn't actually bend. The titanium remained the same in its structural condition. The glass back panel (which is bigger in dimension than the regular pro) cracked during the bend test naturally because the titanium frame is too strong and it won't bend, and as such, during the test, more pressure was applied against the glass panel than is necessary.
Things like this put brand loyalty into perspective. People associate something familiar to them with their identity. A lot of people will cling to things like that, no matter how ridiculous or outdated, as if it's a part of themselves.
If that phone didn't have the apple branding, I doubt anyone would even buy it. The apple brand is just saving the phone from failing.
@Charlie Peamost people just get along with IOS more. Its not all about the brand. Many businesses use apple phones for business phones and use MACs as well. There are obviously some benefits - not that the average person would gain anything from that.
Yeah unlike you android fans who don’t make owning an android phone your entire personality. Oh wait…
Love the new use of the big boy lighter. Hope we get to see it used on more phones 😮
When he said, ‘The crack looks pretty cool,’ I subscribed to his channel, hahaha. Most of the reviews only emphasize the ‘cool features’ of the new iPhones, which are primarily updates to the camera and iOS (similar to the previous version). Finally, I’ve found someone who’s honest about it.
The glass cracking is how the user personalized their iPhone as each individual create different pattern of the cracked glass based on their lifestyle.
Kinda how each Huawei p60 pro is one of a kind due to different back panel patterns
@Mario Habijanec I still love my duct tape back Honor 8. lol First time I broke it I got it repaired in a different color, cause that's all they had in stock. 2nd time, duct tape.
found the ghost of steve jobs
Steve Jobs, get outta here, you're on 0hp already.
The average consumer won't care if their back glass is cracked or if their phone is scratched.
In other phones, the aluminum is able to bend with the glass backs with is why it's less prone to breaking under pressure. The Titanium doesn't give like aluminum, so the glass breaking is probable in response to your thumbs and frame working against it. I have one coming in the mail, i will just slap a case on it and I doubt I will have any issues with this.
That isn’t really true. Titanium deforms and flexes fairly easily, which is one of the reasons it is so strong-because it flexes and returns to its original shape instead of breaking.
@Craig T have a titanium apple credit card and I can not bend it with my hands. I have tried and it doesnt budge. While it is true that titanium is stronger and can flex better than aluminum, that does not mean it is just as easy to bend. You either need a lot of force or heat to get it to bend. In his other video you can see that the aluminum one bends fairly easily during the attempt, but when bending the titanium one, the frame barely flexes. Also, on older iphone models, the glass wraped around the frome almost on the curved edges. WIth this new one, the glass seems more like an insert for the back, not sure if that plays into the fragility or not.. theres a lot of physics involved with both
They should make ghost cases for older iphones too since it’s such a niche case that many companies fail to do correctly, would definitely have my buy for my iphone 11
I wonder if the scratches at first weakened the glass. Maybe that's why it shattered like that
The reason that the back glass shattered so quickly was because that apple put another titanium cover that was supposed to support the back glass but the put it on the actual phone not the back panel.
Can you appreciate Jerry for not just breaking the phones but also writing the best review scripts ever on planet earth?
Almost. For anyone that wants to know, a grade 5 sheet of titanium like used on something the size of an Iphone is $12.84. The "hundreds of dollar" figures he is quoting in the video are internet retail prices that no one, in the history of the internet, has actually paid. Manufacturers increase prices *thousands* of percent so that when they reduce it to only hundreds of percent, fools think they are getting a good price. As a side note, licencing costs are $33 per phone and there is $8 in management and marketing. No phone on earth cost as much as $50 from start till it is in you hands, the rest is pure profit.
Yeah his dialogue is aces.
Zack
Sure
"Instead we have a brand new braided USB-C cable. I imagine the world will soon follow Apple's lead on this one."
Chef's kiss!! Perfect unironic-sounding delivery.
I think the reason the back cracked is because they decided to make a bigger battery in a smaller thinner frame and I think they made the glass thinner too so the phone stays pretty thin
It's because they want more of your money faster
Titanium can be incredible but but just like carbon fibre, it’s “brand” often hides it’s downsides. My 13 pro made of steel is heavy but it’s tough as hell.
It amazes me that they still get away with the shattering glass problem... It's such a self made problem..
I got an aluminum and titanium ridge wallet and what I've noticed between the two the aluminum one is more scratch resistant. It must be due to the anodized finish.
Really shows while the titanium is cool looking it isn't necessarily more resilient than other cheaper materials.
It's probably because of the anodized finish. 2024T3 aluminum is EXTREMELY easy to scratch
I went to the Apple store the other day and wanted to upgrade my 14 to a 15 just for the heck of it and the associate immediately said DO NOT upgrade and told me the 14 Po is the best one to have at the moment. So her opinion made my decision to not bother.
"Brand new USB C cable, I imagine the world will follow apples lead on this one and we'll see this port everywhere..." Jerry at his best 😂😂
He jokes but Apple was the first computer manufacturer to put USB-C on a laptop and is largely responsible for USB-C’s rapid adoption. It is silly though how long it took them to bring it to the iPhone.
It made me think it's a brand new piece of technology only to realised I had used it for years already on my $250 android phone
Bruh they didn't even put USB C 3.0 on normal iphones they are using 2.0, so u have to go pro to get the faster one lol
@Henry first products with USB C came out in 2015. The 1st macbook with an USB C came out in 2016.
The EU is requiring USB C for small electronics by 2024 I believe. But I'm sure that had nothing to do with it. 😂
This review and the over heating ones made me return my unopened 15 pro max to Apple today. They did know about your review in the Apple store. I spent over and hour with the staff trying the 15 pro and 15. I ordered a 15 pro. Thanks again for making this brave video. To paraphrase Apple.
If this video made you take it back, why did you still end up getting pretty much the same phone?
No hate, just wondering why.
@Chiedza D it confirmed the good points for me on unit size and the lens size. I also wanted to try the 120hz screen in real life. Since after being diagnosed type 2 diabetic I wanted to see if that helped. So I tried the pro, normal 15 and even the pro max 15 in the Apple store. I knew I would be buying a unit a smaller battery than the max, smaller size. I had not seen a review until now that showed every day life in the similar awful rain we get here.
The 15 pro was not bending and cracking just the pro max.
@John Collins oh that makes sense
isheeps will just lineup to buy any and all garbage they put out😂
Its either the 15 series back glass is made of candy, or Zack has just approached Baki level strengths lol
Thank god for that. I ordered the pro. Just for preference but I’m glad it doesn’t shatter the back of the phone with a little touch of testing the phone bending strength. 😂😂😂 glad I didn’t order the max
For anyone interested, I work at an IT/Telecommunications type store and compared the iPhone 15 Pro Max against the Galaxy Ultra s23. The Ultra still takes better photos; more clarity and nicer contrast.
Now do an instagram story on both phones. lol
I like how these things are just put tot the absolute test. They better make sturdy phones
Any phone's worst nightmare - The box opens and it's in Jerry's hands 😂
😂
The iPhone said *ohh boy"
Fun fact: his name is not jerry, its Zack
@EZR396 he meant in Jerryrigeverythjng hands but spelling that all out is annoying
What are the chances we have practically the same profile picture?
Glad I got a case and screen protector for mine. Honestly would’ve stuck with my 13 pro a few more years if I hadn’t just broke the screen 🥲 literally a week after paying it off.
I’m shocked how quick the back glass cracked. Do you think the heating flame could have expanded components internally creating new pressure points?
Uau, Jerry!! Nao imaginava que estaria dublado kkkkkk parabens!
I want to know how much force is applied when bending the two phones so that the blue one breaks the back glass and the second phone is not damaged? So is the quality of the back glass of the two colors different? Thank you. Thank you very much.
Imagine actually doing this to a brand new iPhone 😳
The glass part is concerning considering how many people may keep their phone in a back pocket
I don’t understand why anyone would ever have their phone in their back pocket they’re just asking for it to be stolen or to sit on it
No one puts their phone in their back pocket
Damn. Calling me out 😂
@ace28 98 plenty of people do, especially women since their front pockets are the size of thimbles..
It makes me wonder if Apple made it easier and cheaper to repair because they know it’s much more likely to break.
Such a surprise about Apple dropping it's charger cable. Yet very sensible all the same.
I think its a QC issue, as since the glass is removable it actually has enough tolerance to not be fully centered yet still sealed shut
Agreed, Yet, Apple will still claim "You're doing it wrong!"
I saw dozens of durability tests and testimonies from people who had it for a month and it didn’t break at all. Not sure why yours breaks so easily when even machine bend test showed 110 pounds of pressure on the back without any damage whatsoever.
Its mind boggling how apple can profit with something so premium and cheap at the same time.
The way he confirmed it's the iphone after unexpectedly breaking it was surprising...
''We have a brand new USB-C cable.. I imagine the world will soon follow Apple's lead on this one and we'll start seeing this port everywhere'' kinda flew under the radar 😂😂 you can miss it easily. But Apple deserves it
The stupid thing is the USB-C spec allows alternate modes. Two devices connected via USB-C can negotiate to use the USB data wires to carry signals other than USB. That's how HDMI, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt (which is just PCIe) over USB-C work. Apple could easily have made a Lightning alternate mode and put a USB-C port on its phones 8 years ago, without losing compatibility with pre-existing Lightning devices.
yes
this was exactly what i was wondering, i was like hol'up what'd i just hear??
It didn't fly under the radar, most likely Apple users genuinely agreed with his statement since they don't know any better
the harder thin materials, the easier it cracks, because it lost the flexibility to keep itself together 😅
I have two possible theories for why the back shattered during the bend test. One possibility is there's a tiny void of space behind that glass right below the camera module, and when you started bending it that void allowed the glass to flex to it's breaking point. Kind of like how a floor tile with an air gap underneath is easier to break and sounds different when stepped on.
The other possibility is the edge of the camera module dug into the glass when you started bending it, as that seems to be where the cracks propagate from. I'm curious if all 15 pro max phones exhibit this behavior or if this was a fluke.
Ive seen other tests on here and most other iphone 15 pro maxs survive the same durability tests and more so could you please try this test again although mine is about a month newer than this video so they could have fixed it but im not sure anyways the phone seems really good and that crack was very surprising so it just makes since to do the same test to another for confirmation because this does make usual apple users worry as myself for spending as much as it is for it to see the back glass break so easily so id really appreciate if you did thanks.
I was thinking.. what about two layers of screen protector put on the back glass? That could strengthen it a bit
Haha, I owned the HTC Evo3D those 12 years ago! Oh man, how I loved the 3D images it took :D It was a nice and cool feature to show off with, but basically useless without the phone. I still have them stored somewhere :D
No matter how many of these videos I’ve watched I still find it horrifying to watch the phones getting destroyed 😅
As a person who buys a phone maybe every 3 or 4 years, yeah I am not overly fond of these videos.
Yeah, makes my skin crawl
Gives me joy when it's an iPhone lol
jerry: “i’m too poor to buy a full rod of grade 5 titanium…”
also jerry: *buys an iphone 15 pro just to destroy it*
(keep it up, this vid is very interesting so far)
Would be nice to see a three point bend test on Instron equipment...
Yikes!
Guess you'll have to invest in a 2000W laser cleaner system to heat up the sanples edge on so the front and rear glass won't get collateral damage like it did with the Mapp gas torch.?
Would be interested to see a more indepth look at just the pro rather than the pro max please
Conclusion: It doesn't matter if you get a titanium or stainless steel frame, you need to pay extra to repair back glass 😂
if it has a glass on the back, always get a case.
@Thomas Reno case can help this.. it wasn’t a break from shock rather an uneven force applied similar to eg, when you’re accidentally sitting with the phone at your back pocket
If only the back of the phone was titanium
@Nicholas Wicks💀
There’s a group of people attempting to replicate your break, they haven’t been able to. Either you’re incredibly strong (you are), or the heat might’ve weakened the glass.
On UAclips?
Or they just pretending because repair is expensive
Can you post links?
If you can't post any source, then you're lying
The lighter had nothing to do with it ... That's preposterous...
Pretty sure the back glass fragility is due to the process of infusing metal ions into the glass that Apple used to add the color.
na its just cheap crap
Good video. You proved Apple using the word "Titanium" gives the buyer a false sense of strength for sure.
Imagine being a iPhone on the assembly line. Dreaming about your long and happy life with a new owner. Just to open the box and hear those dreaded words “welcome to Jerry Rig everything”
Hi Jerry, lli like your videos so much because the offer so much education beyond just these flagships, I get to learn about material science sometimes, thank you so much ❤
02:50 “I imagine the world will soon follow Apple‘s lead on this one and we‘ll start seeing this port everywhere.” Subtle comedy gold right here, well played.
Wow, I didn’t realize he was being sarcastic! Happy you pointed that sarcasm out because I missed it and was like what the hell does he mean “Apple leads“!
oh it was a reverse joke😅 i had missed the sarcasm too
came here to say the same thing lol
"The closest thing we'll ever see to world peace..." 🤣
For those who still don't understand, literally every company started using Type C ports years ago. IPhone is probably the last on the list lmao.......
Melhor canal sobre teste de durabilidade que eu já conheci.
Wonder if it broke due to being heated up first, curious if a brand new 15 pro max breaks out of the box with no fire exposure first
Been rocking my iphone 8 plus since its release, without a screen protector. Safe to say, no scrathes so far. These damages arent caused in regular day to day scenarios which the phone is made for and not for "blasting it with fire"
First we had bendable apple phones. Now we have breakable ones! What a revolutionary invention!
Hey Jerry, great video! May I ask how do you add the audio track? Do you use any program to translate your audios?
That glass break sound was just awesome! Apple might be scared after your durability test. 😂😂😂
@Austinwow. If it breaks that easily just imagine dropping your phone😂😂
@Austinhe does the same thing with other phones with glass back there glass do not brake.
@IronFistyou are right ment even the previous iphone
@Austin is this the first ever video of his you're wtching?
Damn iPhone 15 pro max is more expensive than an 88-key synthesizer and the breaking of the back glass was quicker than any runner
