I love this song…. A lot of y’all are weird ….she isn’t promoting being single, she is promoting self love and self confidence as a woman. Essentially telling women be happy and be confident within yourself and know how to stand ten toes down on her own. AS ANY ADULT SHOULD DO. A lot of women & men depend on men/women to take care of them and don’t know how to stand ten toes down or busy watching the reality shows that glorify being taken care of. You shouldn’t NEED anyone else to complete you. you should be complete within yourself. A person should know how to take care of themselves as an ADULT aka independent. And not be depending on someone else to take care of them. Before you can be in any relationship you should be able to stand ten toes down and be happy and confident within yourself first and then the right partner will come along and compliment that life you’ve built and vice versa…….why would u not want to celebrate having your own, accomplishing your own goals, making your own money?
