Being the conversationalist that Bill is. I always enjoy these pressers. Bill's candid breakdown and free exchange of ideas is always enlightening. Bill has established himself as a jovial, exceedingly friendly coach, who loves spending time with reporters and sharing thoughts on the game. Nothing makes Bill happier than a spirited debate on game theory and coaching styles. In this podium appearance, Bill offered detailed wisdom and insight, along with a full explanation of today's game and the preparation that affected its outcome. I found it insightful and informative to say the least, although some technical aspects Bill touched on lost me at times. Thank you for sharing.

Imagine if you kept this poor sport, classless prick as your coach all these years just to find it was Brady making him look good? My coach gets banned from the league for private emails resulting in his reputation and livelihood being taken from him. Gruden gets painted as a villain, yet even in devastating defeat he showed nothing but class. If i'm choosing a role model for my kids i would choose Coach Gruden over sour Bill 10/10 times. Bill doesn't even have the RESPECT for your organization or Robert Kraft to be polite and respectful to the media. Any time he has a tough loss he shows kids all over the world THIS is how you act in defeat? Stay classy Bill! And NE, this Raider fan could care less, but if i'm you i would certainly want a man with more class leading my team.

Congrats to the Bills, they certainly deserved this win. On the plus side, I had the Pats at 9-8/8-9 (or worse) before the season started, so I'll take 10-7 and a playoff berth with a rookie QB. We need to make some changes on this team, for sure - but with Mac at QB, New England's future is bright.

Y’all had a great season and bounced back very quickly after losing your most important player two years ago. You should be proud. The bills lost their franchise quarterback over two decades ago and it took us 17 years to make it back to the playoffs. Be proud of the organization and coach that you have. To even make the playoffs after the hit you took is incredible. Cheers to you patriots fans. You’ve always whooped our asses and won super bowls. Maybe my bills can have a chance just this one time, at least I hope. I hope this victory doesn’t become meaningless a week from now. The problem is that BB is 70 years old and very close to his expiration date. Even George "Papa Bear" Halas retired at 72. Once he retires, the Patriots will go back to being a regular franchise like any other. Keep in mind that New England never came close to winning a Super Bowl prior to his arrival. His departure will have the same effect on the Patriots as Shula's did on Miami

In fairness to Bill and any coach in the NFL, how deeply can they talk about their strategies and game plan without revealing important pieces of information about how they generally conceive of the string of tactical maneuvers it takes to upend another team? You talk too much, and your opponent begins learning how you think. A big part of why Bill has been so successful is his ability to not revel in glory and open his mouth. It makes games like the earlier meeting of these two teams-where Bill opted to have the ball thrown only three times-possible, because his opponents are still unable to predict just what he's going to do, despite his being a coach for decades.
On the reporter side of this, I would love to see the press corps all agree that after Bill comes out and makes his opening statement, they just say, "Okay, thanks Bill. Next!" Maybe if they did that consistently for the next season, asking no further questions, Bill's opening statements would get better.
as a bills fan say what you will about bill belicheck but this man has accomplished something head coaches could only dream of. this man belongs in canton. he may not have a nice personality but he has been one of the smartest head coaches to live. remember he was able to beat us with a 60s play book back in week 14 turned around a 6 year rebuild into a 1-2 year rebuild.
He has accomplished years of scandals and the most questionable past in NFL coaching history.

As a die hard bills fan I can say finally 20 years of frustration are over with and now the bills are the best team in the afc east going forward hopefully they can finish it by going to the super bowl vs Tom Brady and end that also
I'm not sure how old you are, but I lived through the same frustrations in the 80s and 90s when the Bills and Dolphins were unstoppable. So, enjoy it while it lasts, because we have another great (rookie) QB who will only get better.

Heads need to roll on that defense. We weren't great in any area of the game, but our D has really let us down the past month or so. They went from amazing to total collapse.
Hopefully we can pick up some better defensive guys, and get Mac some better receivers, in the off-season. Brush it off, restructure, and come back to kick their asses next year.

Belichick was desperate last year and in 2021 he tried to buy a championship team. Bill will never regain his previous success as a coach. Belichick benefited for 20 years in spite of his narcissistic coaching style. When Belichick pushed Brady out of New England he lost all the football intangibles that came with having the goat. For 20 year I enjoyed some of the greatest football that Bill and Tom were able to give all football fans. Thank you.

For three years, I had to deal with the Minneapolis Miracle, the infamous no call, losing again to Vikings, the having Brees lose his arm the final half of the 2020 season, and then this year we had to battle covid and no offense. AND the incompetent Rams looked like they ducked us after choking a 17 point lead.
