They need to bring back the two daily raid pass bonus. It would help the players that have moved on from remote raiding

Wish they had an opportunity to “fill lobby” when going to raids. Would make me want to get out and do these raids knowing I can actually do it.

This season seriously excites me. Due to a hiatus I took, I'm missing a lot of legendaries, particularly the Sinnoh. So this season is my chance to finally pick them up. I just want it to be June already.

Niantic making remote raid damage “boost” permanent is actually a huge W. First one I’ve seen them do for a while now.
I was dreading that bonus going away, and was expecting this to be the first season w/o it.

These are some amazing events and raids, So happy it's during the summer as well when we (most at least) can put in more time and doesn't have to overspend to compensate for lost time!
Also dark flames sounds ALOT like Galarian Moltres

Aside from Johto tour really has feel like a long time since Entei, Raikou and Suicune have been in raids
Probably could release Zygarde as well.
And still waiting for Mega Lucario.

Honestly, Articuno can be Duo'd easily and I've seen people done Shadow Mewtwo being Duo'd, Shadow Articuno is a much easier raid boss, can be taken down by 2 people but you need 5 gems each as the raid boss needs 8 Gems to Subdue the Shadow Effect and I highly recommend lvl 40+ Rock types, just bring a friend and you can take it down easily no problem
Also I like the Shadow Raids being a permanent thing it does help people getting Meta relevant pokemon much easier in the future

The new season sounds pretty cool. Even though it was leaked early on their website, I think it's much better for Niantic to reveal all of the raids for the next season like this. It's nice to know what raids are available well ahead of time so that you can determine which ones you want to go after. I wish that they'd do that for their Community Days too, even though the trailer for the season pretty much confirmed the leaks going around. I'm really surprised that Regieleki and Regidrago are going to be in raid so soon. I thought that wouldn't happen for at least a year, but maybe with Shadow Raids, they aren't going to have Elite Raids. I wasn't able to do any Shadow Raids during its debut event, so I'm much less excited for them. Having five star Shadow Raids on weekends is potentially a good way to make them more accessible for players, but given that they pop up randomly, it still isn't the most ideal way to handle them. Something like a raid day or raid hour on the weekend might help, but they should just make them accessible with remote raids or at least give players more purified gems so that they could potentially take on these Shadow Raids on their own.
I am pretty happy that the boosted damage for remote players is a permanent feature. That was something I always worried about them removing since it would make it a lot more difficult to defeat Legendary and Mega Pokemon. Most people would be probably happier about that if remote raids weren't more expensive. I'm still more annoyed at the limit, especially when I highly doubt that it has led to an increase of in-person raids. While I hesitate to give Niantic much credit here, I am glad that the boosted damage for remote raids is permanent and it gives me some hope that they won't mess up remote raids even further.
The upcoming events sound pretty nice for June. I really hope that I can get a Shiny Clauncher. Hopefully they'll introduce Shiny Skrelp in the near future too.

I just started playing the game last July, so getting a chance to catch Legendaries and other Pokemon I missed out on is always a good thing.

I personally love the next season. It holds a lot of legends and mega's I don't have yet

In my opinion, I think this is a very solid and fun upcoming event! So excited for the raid bosses, wild spawns, eggs, etc!!

Overall pleased with the game compared to what content it had in 2016.

im personally really excited for these events. I really love sableye, carbink and sandygast and water type pokemon so this event is one of the best ive heard in a while

I was really hoping the legendary beasts would come back to raids since we just had the birds a lil while back. Butnid say the birds are coming back cause were about to have all the shadow birds in raids

As someone that started almost a year ago I’m kinda glad to see a lot of Pokémon coming back that I missed out on in the previous years. I really just want the candies and completing my Pokédex. I no longer worry about pvp, there’s other less stressful ways to get stardust lol

Things I’m looking forward to- that 4 hr lure to get the picnic badge going. Alolan executor for platinum dragon badge. Those good trade bonuses.

Regardless of the position Niantic has put themselves against the community with those remote pass updates and nerfs, I have to admit that I'm so damn hyped for the upcoming season!

Owen/Sparrow's curiousity and needing Scott to teach him things and Scott loving adventuring and just trying to make a nice life for himself is just giving me Empires S2 throwbacks-

This all sounds great! I do wish there was a bit more mystery but such is the nature of leaks.

I'm honestly really happy with the raids. The legendaries, maybe NOT that much, but mega raids? Heck yeah. Gives new or returning players an opportunity to get mega energy for pokemon that might be useful as counters to other, stronger raids. I really like how this looks so far and I am very excited for the new season :)

I feel like we might also get Mega Diancie since we are getting Diancie. Since Carbink has been showen at the same time as Ttar and Sableye which are getting a mega (Sableye not confirmed but it makes sence) i think there was a secret mega in there

Axew comm day is gonna be great it’ll be a really good opportunity to snag a rare shiny (who knows maybe even a shundo) and the mega raids look pretty solid too. Have they ever had mystery mega raids before? Asks me wonder if they might release something we aren’t expecting maybe we’ll finally get a legendary mega like rayquaza (since kyogre and groudon already have their primal forms) or maybe with mewtwo coming back recently it might get its mega but probably not for a legendary mega like that they’ll probably put it in an elite or local only raid sadly.

I like that the rotating tasks will be the same for 3 months with how many events we get with event task. Grant it will stink if there aren’t any tasks I would want to hunt.

I think that articuno will be a great shadow boss because its 4x weak to rock so now you can have smaller parties to take it out

what do you guys think the mystery legendary raid is gonna be? i think its zygarde because it was leaked in the trailer for gen 6 and at the end of the trailer there is a green beam going through a building

In _lore_ of Pokemon, Diancie is just a mutated Carbink, IE it's more of a different form of Carbink than a evolution. It'd be cool if Diancie and Carbink shared candies because they're so closely tied together but I doubt it'll happen.
In terms of raids this season, mega Tyranitar is definitely one I'm looking forward to and the lake trio would be nice to add to the collection, but again, I'm so worried I won't be able to do them. Same with Shadocuno, I already couldn't even get enough people for a Shadow Mewtwo raid and have trouble filling up lobbies even when remote raids are available. This whole push to go back to solely in person PoGO is destroying the game for me. And then as a slap in the face, we're just giving out the galarian Regis now? Don't get me wrong, it was kinda dumb for them to be "elite" raids in the first place but to just give them out now after all the hassle of putting them in in the first place is just a slap in the face to whoever actually went out of their way to get them on elite days, especially since 2 of those elite days removed everything that makes elite raids, well... _elite_

In early June 2021 there were extremely good spawns(swampert,venasaur,dragonite,etc) and one day there were leaves floating in the sky. I have looked this up but couldn’t find anything. Does any one know what this was?

yeah june is definately the less obviously good one of the bunch but still not horrible. if you are a dps person in raids like myself, kingler is a strangely good pokemon. you will have to dodge every single charge attack to do so, but with a high level team of shadow kinglers when they come out you can actually do more dps than anything besides primal kyogre, so not bad to stock up on candy for that one.

For seasonal spawns, if you play the game for a long time, within the season, you should know what's spawning and what's not. Mine's getting tired of seeing Pidoves and Starlies all over my area. Maybe Pidgey again, or Tailow? (Man, Tailow is the next Pidgey, and I'm not ready for it.)

I want to be able to power up my pokemon's CP and IVs without the candy system - like through gym battling and/or team leader training battles.
The whole candy system needs a revamp too. Maybe instead of having candy for each individual pokemon, turn it into "type" candy. This way we can catch a bunch of psychic types and get psychic candy and then use the candy to power up our mewtwo. Changes like this will be sick and make the game better imo. This will make players want to go outside and catch all the wild pokemon and do gym battles all day long.

Honestly I’m super excited. Time to catch me my first Arituco😇 just started playing this year so I’m beyond happy to see them come back in raids🥲

The new wild spawns for the upcoming season are extremely underwhelming imo, as well as the legendary raids. I feel like there's not much to look forward to over the next three months. Curious to know what your thoughts are on it though.

As long as they make shadow raids more do able I'm fine with it cause I mainly couldn't get shadow shiny mewtwo cause I was unlucky and most people stopped raiding after they got there shiny

Mega Tyranitar is one of my favorite Megas, if not my favorite Mega, so I just cannot wait for it to come out.
