Sitting down with Dallas' defense ahead of some big NFC match ups, the guys are breaking down the Cowboys surprising start this season and where the team is headed from here. Linebacker, Micah Parsons has been a stronghold on defense and the cornerstone of the team along with Trevonn Diggs who has been a leader in the lockerroom and on the field.
After starting quarterback, Dak Prescott was sidelined with injury week 1, The Cowboys rallied the team and have won 4 straight games against tough NFL opponents to become a team everyone is watching. With their NFC East rival sitting atop the NFC and the only undefeated team in the league, the Cowboys team knows they have a tough road ahead to get where they want to be come January.
Both Diggs and Parsons, acknowledge back up quarterback Cooper Rush has helped them win games but are very vocal on Dak's mentality and leadership throughout his entire injury. The defensive duo are clear that this is Dak's team and he is the first one in the building and last one to leave everyday despite not playing as he still continues to prepare the team each week and work with Cooper Rush on managing the offense.

Man….. I’m an Eagles fan, but Micah is that dude. After that loss against the Cardinals in week 17 he was like the only Cowboys player that talked after the game and didn’t blame the refs. He’s just built different. He’s got that mamba mentality and as a Lakers and Eagles fan (like Kobe) that grew up on Kobe as his favorite player…. Man it hurts. Cowboys got a special special player and person. Trevon is cool too. I’ve probably heard his son talk more. They are so much alike though.
