How to EASILY Solo Flawless Pit of Heresy - Arc 3.0 Hunter [Destiny 2]

I just used this calm demonstration of taking things slow, because there is no time limit approach, and did my first solo run on my fav class, hunter!! I tried my first solo Duality and made it to Caitil before giving up after 4 hours, something I would have never been able to get close to without your help. Thanks for the load out. This actually was what I was missing to make solo flawless feasible. It works wonders. While requiring a bit more situational awareness I used a different gun set up due to not having a one two punch shotty. What I found that worked well was witherhoard, a god roll funnel web and depending on the encounter either a linear fusion or rocket. So far I’ve been able to solo all dungeons flawlessly except duality. Caitl has been uncooperative and I wipe at least once.

Just wanted to say, I achieved solo flawless on my first ever run of the dungeon with this build! Thanks for giving me the courage to start trying dungeons.

I love these guides, have you thought about including a “bloopers” section at the end for goofy ways of dying? It would actually be really helpful, like with your GOA run, you gave advice about jumping on the slanted ramp before ogre. I missed a flawless run for pit while in the maze, slid off a ledge and lost my first double jump. Those weird deaths are definitely risks to watch for

These videos are so good. I missed a couple of seasons so I'm still trying to get all the various mods from Ada, but even without most of the mods, this build still slaps enemies around in most content. Looking forward to getting the rest of the pieces. Please keep making videos like this. I hope someday to see other classes get the same video treatment.

I've been trying to solo flawless Pit of Heresy on Hunter for at least 2 years, and I get up to Chamber of Suffering easily, but Chamber is always the encounter that ruins it... and you just made it look so easy!! I'm definitely going to be trying out this strat today 👍

Definitely gonna try this when Pit is the Weekly Pinnacle Dungeon in the future. I actually did Prophecy yesterday on Gunslinger with Assassin's Cowl since your videos have given me a confidence boost to try soloing dungeons, and I only died once per encounter, so I think a solo flawless on Gunslinger is in the realm of possibility for me. (I also used Gjallarhorn for the final boss but I think Lament might work since she does a ground stomp instead of shooting a teleport blast when you're close.)

Great build, helped me get my flawless solo on this dungeon today. Was stuck on Chambers of Suffering for the longest and Assassins Cowl made it a cake walk…haha. Appreciate!

very well explained 🙂 I'll give it a try as soon as I get home from work, because I REALLY want that emblem for the flawless completion. Also some small details I saw, why not change the cape mod for the arc grenade champion stun to Distribution (reduces all abilities when using class ability near targets) and also you can get twice the invisibility time if you change one of your armor pieces to stasis and use time dilatation ;-)

Minor tip for the sword when fighting the wizards, holding S or Backwards while firing the ranged allows it to combo faster or if you do a small jump you can chain 3 hits in mere seconds

Dovarich.....you're the man. Today, for mre, was the first time ever venturing into the Pit of Heresy. All I'm going to say is that I'm glad there isn't a death counter 😁. But after a fair few hours...I finally beat the Pit. I doubt it very much if I would've beaten this without your guide. I was able to solo this my first try, but it took me a good week or two to solo flawless! Learned a bunch of little intricacies along the way! Don't back up when you drop your sword to rocket the ogre! Don't super I'm the hub of the maze! Careful when you jump! That's where I died the most lol

However I'm having fun on titan right now, so I'm going to do it with a solar hoil build. I've done prophecy, grasp of avarice, and shattered throne all flawless solo. This looks to be the easiest of them all.

I stumbled upon your channel while watching builds for destiny 2 I've been playing since Destiny 1 back in 2014. I have to say watching your videos especially your solo Dungeon runs, have been awesome. I love how you use commentary with your runs. I like how you describe what your builds consist of down to mods weapons and stats. I my self love to see how great guardians can be when they take the time to understand how the game works and how mods weapons stats and play style can make you a better guardian. This season you could also use GL with weakened clear to give an nice debuff during final boss damage. :)

Really like your commentary style, simple and easy to follow without a bunch of yelling and fluff. After seeing your GoA run I used the build and finished it no problem, so cheers for that. Looking forward to the Shattered Throne run.

Ill add my voices to the others! This is a great clear guide and excellent tips. Chamber of suffering was easiest its been. Would have had my first solo flawless had i not made a stupid mistake in the jumping section. Only difference was I used Anarchy with WC on the final boss.

After nearly three years and countless attempts, I have finally achieved a solo completion of the Chamber of Suffering. This build you proposed for this encounter here in Season of Plunder got me over the hump. The only thing I changed was crutching Gally to take out the Knights. I tried the one-two punch move but could not successfully pull it off with any degree of consistency. Also used Reactive Pulse to give myself an overshield when using a finisher.

I believe you can ignore the mid knight in the chamber and farm left and right for dunks. At least when I last did it you could. Look forward to trying a) hunter and b) flawless

There is actually a way through where you killed the first witch, I found it yesterday when I started going for the flawless, I haven’t managed it yet which is why I’m here. Thank you for making this guide, hopefully I will get it today

Your build obviously made short work of the Zulmak encounter, so I just wanted to add that Zulmak has no enrage/wipe mechanic, so players can literally take as much time and as much damage phases as they need to kill him.
Pertaining to that, the Orbs that the three mini-bosses drop can be left on the ground while you deal with the other mini-bosses. The orbs will despawn, but once all are dead, they respawn on the ground of their respective areas.
I also recommend doing the mini-bosses in order of biggest to smallest threat. Shrieker maps the arena with its void beams, Wizard can map with her Arc, and the Knight just wanders around with his sword and board.
For dunking orbs, Zulmak will usually be bogarting the hopper you are closest to, so I choose a direction and dunk on the left/right for all three orbs. This way I'm never in danger of a Zulmak stomp while dunking. So say I'm running down from Shrieker to dunk, I'll go one to the right and deposit at Knight. Then I'll pick up Knight's orb and dunk one to the right at Wizard, then Wizard dunked one to the right at Shrieker.
These are mostly things I’ve observed/done on non-invis-Hunter runs, so in the context of your video, these are just things worth knowing in case players lose their rhythm and have to improvise to get safe again.

Your build is working, i finished it couple mintues ago solo flawless. It's the end or close to the end of the season, nothing to do and i thougt ok copy that build and go for it. It worked fine. I mean on this dungeon it wasn't my first solo flawless clear. Have tried every class with differnt stuff. The invis is pretty cool but i prefer solar hunter with with 3 font of might espacially for g-horn and cartesian. But hey all personal preference and your build worked extremly good when you wanna play it without any risk of dying. Nice video!!!

I remember when you can clone the void orb and tank 6 of them instantly. Miss this. Would be way easier with this glitch but thanls for thw guide

One tip for the chamber play a sword if you get to slow you can gain speed with a sword but remember then u arent invisble anymore but you can also punch some adds the get invisble again
