So Roblox DOORS got a NEW UPDATE & It is AMAZING!

Door 100 is crazy compared to the old one, with a completely different way of powering the elevator. In case you didn't notice, the way "seek" comes out of the ground is different. Just a little notice.

Ambush is like rush, but he arrives 2-6 times.
By the way, you don't know what is waiting for you at doors 90-99 so here's my advice in case you eventually get there:
-Stay as close as you can to wardrobes (rush or ambush can appear at ANY room at that point)
-Save your flashlight battery for those last doors so you could see bear traps
-Get the skeleton key. I heard that there are dangerous vines on the floor on those doors, and that they disappear when you get the green herb effect.

I love how they even changed the cutscenes in this too and made them better animated and I just noticed little detail that hints the guiding light pushed over the lamp to destract the figure at door 50

There is a secret sector at door 60-ish. (For reference go to 19:22) You need 2 lockpicks and a skeleton key. You need to go through a hole in the wall and complete a small maze and a find a yellow light that leads to a door. Unlock that door. Enjoy

A Doors Completionist from the pre-Hotel+ update

Nothing better than sitting down with some food and watching a video of Ryan playing a game. He never fails to entertain me! :)

In case you don't know, there are massive changes on doors 100 and 90-99. Doors 100 got a total revamp.

The ending is a different experience now! Floors 90-100 are significantly a challenge to beat now but its worth reaching the final door!

Here are some tips for next time. (This includes old info and new info regarding the new update. I'll only be mentioning the tips that relate to the events played in this video. Hope this helps.)
- The brown bottles are vitamins, they give a speed boost.
The speed boost also applies to crouching, allowing you to outrun Figure.
It also works on a seek chase, but the new update has made seek a bit faster so be careful.
11:07 you can use the vitamin to outrun Rush as well and find a closet to hide in.
-3:46 This secret locked chest can be opened if you have the lockpicks. You can get an early lockpick in the elevator shop at the beginning or find them in drawers.
- 7:49 This entity is called Dupe. 8-BitRyan has solved what to do already but simply if you see two or three numbered doors in the same room, try to remember the number on the previous door. There is also a slight sound behind the incorrect door indicating that Dupe is behind it.
- 13:27 If you are playing on a keyboard, you can simply please 1 to make the books disappear from your inventory instantly. When you have the sheet code in your inventory as 1, press 2 instead.
- 18:22 so obviously you need the skeleton key. The Herb of Viridis or just The herb is a one-time use healing item. It grants passive health regeneration for the entire run, shown in the icon in the bottom left corner.
- 23:43 As the guiding light says, Ambush is similar to Rush. In this new update, it's a lot quicker now.
Listen out for when an ambush is approaching, it sounds very different to Rush. Go near a closet and when it's close, hide. The issue with this entity is that it rebounds so it will come back through the same room 1 to 6 times. You can't stay in the closet as Hide can kick you out.
Basically, *enter the closet when it's near, leave when it's gone, hear it approaching again, hide, and then repeat till it's completely gone*

It’s nice to see Ryan never forgets the old games he played

I am suprised of how insanely big this update is, it's amazing! Secret rooms, new entities, new animations (seek), fake doors, new rooms and a lot more

You need to use Lockpicks on the chests, the skull door has a plant that if you use it, you slowly heal overtime, listen very carefully on the greenhouse level.

If you didn't know, there's actually a secret at door 60. You will need 2 lockpicks and a skull key to open it. I think you also need to flick the lever in door 61 to open something blocking the way to the door. I'm not gonna spoil anything else that happens, but you do get teleported there.

There's a special pathway at some point that requires the skeleton key and 2 lockpicks, you'll see a crack in the walls and it will have a very tiny maze. The pathway leads to the 'Rooms'. I suggest you to try it out when you can!

The doors update made the game a lot more fun! :3

So far I’m loving this game even more now, the new update added so much to the game!
We got new rooms, secret rooms, fake doors, a shop with new items, a harder door 90-99, new Seek and Figure animations, and a completely overhauled Room 100

For rooms 90-99 there is no lights at all and you need to be careful for the traps and rush (the troll face lookin thing) so always make sure you are near a closet one you reach the outside garden area

Hell yeah, you finally played it.
The update was a blast and it's pretty entertaining to watch you have a crack at it.

Door 60 has an easter egg, involving lockpicks and a skull key, there is also another ending sequence. For ambush you get in and out of to hiding space, as it rebounds,

at 19:40 that music is coming from a hidden room. Next time you come across room 60 with a Skull key and 2 lock picks, pull the lever, return to the previous room, and look behind a Closet.

I would love more. So hard to find just… doors. Especially with someone who knows so little about the entities, it’s great to just watch the game.

if you ever come back to DOORS, oh man, you're probably gonna be annoyed at door 90-100, because all the rooms are PITCH BLACK, and entities spawn frequently within every other room. You have to have a light, because there's traps on the ground that you could step in. All you have are sound cues to rely on. Good luck!

As someone who has finished doors a lot of times I've been looking forward to playing this for so long, now I get to watch Ryan play it. Good day :)
Edit: Also, you may have not known but literally a few hours before the update, our pal Matt on Game Theory made a video on it. Seeing as his depiction of the update was correct I bet he's satisfied lol
Another Edit: Fun fact for people but the Theory painting Ryan saw is actually a room in Matt's house, it's probably his live streaming room where he made his stream on V1 of Doors last year, I think that this was a token of appreciation from the Devs for him playing the game, especially since one of the developers commented on his stream and said thanks.

Ryan, as a tip for Ambush:
You normally know if he’s coming by the loud ambiance and light flickering like you saw at the end of the video. When he goes into the room, you want to get in a locker when he goes in and out. But remember this: Unlike Rush, Ambush comes back through again, up to 2-4 times. When he does come back, you want to quickly get out of the locker, listen for his sound, and get back in the locker before he can kill you.
That should help!

Tips:
Eat pills when seek is chasing
When the eyes are around on wall and lights flicker don't hide its not rush.
If you cannot find a closet on time either hide behind something.
Door 90-100 are very different now.
Door 100 is way harder so I recommend you to go downstairs from where you encounter the figure (the one at the library) and you can store items in it which can be obtained when you join next time

Always great to see you post Ryan! I've been trying out the new update as well and hope I'll get to learn the new mechanics alongside you.

If you hear a creature that you don't know how to deal with with the crucifix the thing that you use to banish Rush it can work quite effectively it works on all of them although for Boss monsters like seek and figure they're only stunned temporarily but for all others they'll get rid of them outright for a few rooms and also the final encounter with figure at room 100 different

Pro Tip: If Rush spawns whilst you are in a room without a hiding spot, do one of the 4 things:
-Backtrack to a previous room to find one.
-Go to a spot outside the entities hitbox.
-Accept your fate.
-Use the Crucifix.

I played this update right a few seconds before it came out! My friend noticed it instantly and it was scary and hard 😭

A secret pathhway at room 60; you'll need 2 lockpicks and skull key. You have to pull a switch at room 61 and then you can unlock it to 1,000 new rooms and 3 new entities.

Omg I didn't expect this game to get an update haha, time to suffer trying to complete it again lmao

Died once at door 100, got disconnected at door 50, life's good.
Its actually amazing, they changed almost everything at the end, I'll give u a life saving tip, after you go through the resting room where you take a break, be on the lookout for RUSH during the darkness, and try to keep the cross on your person and only use it when you have to, that's all Im gonna say, gonna save u a lot of recording time!

Just a bit of help with hotel update: say you're on 14 there is 15 or 16 you go in 15 because that's the one next. Or else you take damage by the entity "Dupe"

Helpful hint on door 50, if you back yourself into a corner quick enough or before he comes near you, he can't hear you and will pass you before you need to get into a closet!

They had to make the crouch a bit faster because they made seek faster. Also a quick tip, speed through rooms. Do not look in drawers unless you need a key. Do this especially when you get passed the library.

RYAN, this is important
There's an entire separate path in Door 60 that leads to a Door locked with a skeleton lock and 2 normal locks
Unlock it and you will be transported to an entire new level and it is recreation of one of the games that Doors was inspired by

3:59 You need a lockpick to get into those crates, there's no key for those but you can find ones that don't have locks.

ways to deal with Dupe
1. keep track of the room # before you go in, you are also given a few seconds after entering a dupe room to check the previous door until the number tag disappears.
2. if you forget the room, go near (not too near) the 2 doors, you may hear breathing: that is Dupe.
3. you can wait for rush/ambush to open the door since they also go to the correctly numbered door.
4. if it's a key room, find the key and look closely at it, since it will store the door # on it, while this is probably going to get removed in later updates, use it while you can.

There's a little boss fight section at door 90 - 99 called "the greenhouse" and the ending is completely different as well. There's a couple items, rooms, and an entity you haven't encountered yet if you wanna do another video.

i like the animation change with seek or whatever his name is, his starting sprint is alot less goofy as has some impact behind it. 👏

You need to use the lock pick that you can purchase at the start to open the chest. So like when you were in the elevator you can buy 2 lock picks. You basically use those to open the chest

you can use the crucifix on any entity but for seek and figure it will only stun them for a couble of seconds and not get rid of them
also use it in case of an emegency like rush or ambush is coming and you cant find a hiding place

Ryan, you don't need a key for the chest, you just need a lockpick to open it.

Well it's nice to see the game through a video since every time i try to play the update i get stuck in a loading screen. Looks really dope though! Also danngggg- Seek's new cut scene where the goo sticks to him looks so much better than the old cut scene.

there's a secret that requires you to have 2 lockpicks and the skele key on door 61, where you gotta find a secret room called "A-000". this will take you to more rooms(won't spoil anything else).

I played the update before watching this video and I will say the ending is very much different and (in my opinion) harder. It's frustrating at first but you learn your way through the final door. Just expect the unexpected

Little tip at door 50, u can put the books down if u unequip it from your hand it will still put the book into the left side

OH ! For the locked chests, you need a lock pick to open those. Oh and ambush is a creature similar to rush but he bounces between rooms which means you have to keep hopping in and out of dressers until he's gone.

Check back on the room with the many vents (around 60-61) there will be a hidden area behind a closet 👁️

At room 60 there is a secret door that takes you to the “A-000” rooms and if you get to door A-1000 you get a secret night vision tablet and a secret badge 👌

I always thought the doors were floors but i just realized you travel horizontal and not vertical, other than the wine cellar and stair rooms

Not only is there new stuff, the animations are so much better and creepier!

There are massive changes for door 90-100.
Also there is this secret part which leads to "the rooms"
It has 3 new entities .
To access that part, you need 2 lockpicks and a skull key.
Then pull the lever at Door 61.
After doing that, you need to return to Door 60. There should be a hole behind one of the cabinets.
Go through the maze and it will lead to a door.
