I'm happy to hear that he recognizes that he hasn't been consistent. That's been the biggest detriment in his career. I truly hope he can remain healthy and try to fight more consistently in the latter part of his career. He is going to be 35 years old in less than two months. It's now or never Conor.
It wasn't his fault he has been inconsistent, the ufc wouldn't give him a fight during covid because there was no spectators allowed, that's why he organized a charity fight against Dustin
@Ciaran Walsh - nobody said anything about “fault”……. He’s just making an observation,, and he’s correct…..
@Ciaran Walsh Conors inconcistency started at the Khabib fight tho.
Heeis hungry but not angry so I don't know what will going too hapend . But lion is hungry give him the gazel 😂
“ there’s an Irish flag on that belt and I’m the reason why”. That’s such a badass statement to be able to make.
Yep, that was a powerful statement - love it!
He said that right when I seen this
nah it was already there
Many fighters can say that, not really
You rarely ever see Conor this relaxed.
Good 👍
Nice
👍
He probably ran out of cocaine about 2 hours before the interview.
The calm before the storm 👏
That’s the Conor talk we all love. Respectful and eager to achieve the unthinkable.
Sense when? Most love his psychotic chaos
Thee goat
No it isn't lol.
Megan deserves this . She is a massive part of the UFC experience..so professional and smart . Well done Meg 👏
How about those pants and shoes? Hottie meter was rising.
@Over easy eggs Why does it bother you when someone gets a compliment? Why do you feel the need to say something? Imagine saying "quit the hyperbolic praise" to someone in real life after they compliment someone, and how awkward it would be after. How are you not embarrassed?
@Over easy eggs that’s a straight normie take, The overall popularity and replaceability is irrelevant to true fans. Real fans don’t care bout that shit, she’s been great part of the ufc and has been there for a while and has done nothing but great things. Do you like Conor just because he’s popular and not very replaceable because he makes the company money?
@Over easy eggs check out her o
"You show up to fight, and you got my respect"
For those of us who struggle to show up for ourselves at certain times in our lives, let this be a great motivator. The fight isn't really in the ring. Every fighter knows that.
Show up to fight. For you.
Well said
Facts
Good comment mate!
Interview is awkward. Its like Connor trying his best to hold in a huge fart caused by the use of HGH shots and roids
He might lose again
This is Conor’s , Justin’s , and Dustin’s , last run at a world title.
Let’s enjoy the final ride boys 🙏🏽
damn g that one hurts 😪
Don't sneak conor In with the other two lol
@Jimmy G many more runs mate
@Jimmy G exactly. A double champ next to 2 intern holders 😂😂
@Jimmy G funny you say that when Conor is the only one that has held the title lol
One of his best interviews. I am confident that Conor is back and fully focused
As he’s laid up drunk on his yacht I’m Miami
Im confident he will lose again.
Totally agree w you!!
Yes, you are 100% correct. He's fully focused all right.
Fully focused on not *also* inhaling the brass Tudor straw every time he has to "run to take a quick leak, mate."
Have you not seen the latest yt vids lol
Almost a million views already, a laid back interview. Legend.
😂😂😂😊
Having Megan there too does help.
Don’t feed the narcissist, dude. 😂
I honestly only clicked to see Megans interview
Awesome to see Conor in great spirits and fully coherent. This return will be great for everyone involved
ok
Fully coherent 😂😂
because he keeps getting rocked every fight. legit trash
What return? He hasn’t even entered the testing pool yet. I doubt he’ll fight this year
he's a fighter no doubt about it and he deserve all the respect , during his career he never ever backs out from anything and always pursuing challenges always push youeself LOVE TO SEE IT
Never backs out? 0 TITLE DEFENSES???
Not a single title defence tho
@z3bro he never backed out of a title defense he moved forward to other things. The money and success prove it.
"What do I hope for in this world, Megan? I hope for a 100 more fights"
This is such a strong statement coming from a guy who achieved everything.
The problem is that he is missed up with coce and alcohol and fame got to him also . Its so difficult for him to keep his focus like the killers that he is facing .
@selvester ben yeah. We'll see how he does it. I wanna believe, but i'm not blinding myself to this obvious fact. He got to get his shit together in the next 6 months.
Talk is cheap. Reminds me of Tyson Fury.
@LobotomyMeat talk is cheap, but you can see the determination in his eyes. I can admire that. The guy still wants to fight, obviously.
he still has never defended a belt, ever...
Whether u like conor or not, u gotta admit he has something about him that makes you want to tune in, even his interviews, truly a unique individual
I think he used to when we believed he could win fights. I don't think he could beat anyone in the top 5 of 155 or 170
I think Chandler might actually send this dude off to retire for good
@vanillaguerilla a case can be made from ur viewpoint, only time will tell the night this fight potentially happens
This is the most grounded i have seen Conor in ages. He seems totally ready to climb back to the top, huge love, go champ.
Don't fall for it, we saw it before in his second fight with Dustin, all humble and respectful after loss. After few months he was mocking Dustin's family and stuff.
He's special and when he's gone for a while you notice it even more once he's back
Conor is 3-4 since 2016 and has not won in almost 4yrs, what’s special about that. Any other fighter on the roster would been cut already.
@Sydnee Miller Sam alvey wasn't cut despite being on a 9 streak run without a win. Tony ferguson isn't cut after a 5 loss losing streak. So why on earth would they cut the cash cow, the reason ufc is where it is today is because of conor
The early days of Conor, his bravado and scathing “attacks” on his upcoming opponents really helped him. He’s easily one of the best at mind games. This veteran, more matured Conor is arguably just as menacing. He was this way against Cowboy, and finished the fight without a hair out of place. I’m hoping this’ll be the same outcome. A calm, focused and well fought bout.
Yeah facts. If your going to say he’s the best at anything it has to be mind games, he pretty much already won most of his fights before they even started. Not that his striking wasn’t elite too in his run for titles
I like how DC even laughed when Conor surprised everyone with his talk before his first fight against Dustin: "He's a pea-brained little hillbilly from the Backass of nowhere." (DC's town too.)
Are you kidding me Cowboy wasn't a comeback fight that was someone they put in front of him so he could win for sure and the Casual fan might think he's still got it well he doesn't and putting Cowboy in front of him actually was a bad thing for Conor he shouldn't of felt like he accomplished anything after that joke of a fight with washed up Cowboy...lol not a hair out of place ha ha yeah it was Cowboy. Nate rocked him also and made Conor shoot for Nates legs coz he was about to get smashed and go down then Dustin omg twice and Khabib could beat him with his eyes closed starting on his knees. And there's a lot of fighters that will beat Conor and always has been. Conor was great at cutting to 145 and is not well rounded enough to be a real champ. How many times has he defended his belt ? That's not the sign of a true champion . Mayweather could of taken him out way earlier in the fight if he needed to. Conor was a weight cutter that talked trash to other fighters and the Casual fan liked that.
Love that he said how coaching/teaching can make you much better yourself. That's why it's good to help out with the kids classes as well. When you break things down that way you understand everything much better.
He really did change the game forever…when it comes to trash talking…fighters negotiating the right pay they deserve and of course encouraging fighters to go for the double belt and step out of the comfort zone
Even if Conor loses his next 3 fights, we are all watching every single one, Even if you don't like the guy, he's pure entertainment in the octagon.
The True Game Changer
No. Were not even watching this one lol.
@Omar Xwe are, and we he’ll knock out chandler
@Felix Romero Who will? McStretcher? Are you stuck in 2016?
@Eric he may not be like 2016 anymore. But he will beat micheal easy. The styles just dont match well. He is a alverez made over. There is a reason they picked chandler. Tune up. Can he compete with the best in the world now i dout it. Exspecially elite grapplers/wrestlers. But chandler is neither.
Conor has definitely changed and matured. I will be praying for him. A truly unique individual.
I'm so excited to hear him say that he's craving consistency. Sounds like he's got that hunger back that's been missing since the Mayweather fight and Proper 12. He never thought much of being a champion and defending a belt for a good run. He dreamed of wealth and escaping poverty and MMA was his means of doing it. Once he made 9 figures against Mayweather & the Proper 12 deal, he just hasn't been the same.
Both are still consistent indulgences in his life, If only he did it proper and makes the latter just a craving¡ With that said he still takes Chandler out¡🤡💩🍀🦿
Since the khabib fight not the Mayweather. Khabib destroyed him totally
He seemed emotional at the point 04:44, wiped his eye shortly after too. He was talking about consistency after the Cerrone fight, wanting a “Season” so hopefully it can happen, nobody in the game like him.
Love this interview, love this comeback even more
Lead up to a Conor McGregor fight is always fun and entertaining. Glad he's back.
💯
If he does come back and get a win against any ranked guy, I think he deserves all the respect.
Sadly he won't. Chandler will rip him off. RIP Conor
@Friedrich Eizenberg well, Chandler isn't the most intelligent fighter.. so I think Conor has a good chance.
He deserves all the respect right now mate, dude changed the entire game and ate through two divisions.
He deserves all the respect regardless. He beat Mendes with a fucked knee, then destroyed Aldo and alvarez. People cry he never defended, why should he, he fought Mayweather in a showman fight and probably made more in that one fight than all the current champs have made in their entire careers 3 times over.
He might not be the GOAT in terms of skillset but nobody will ever do more for MMA than he did.
no
When Connor puts down the party favors and dedicates himself he is a force. I hope he is taking this more seriously than his last few opponents.
Hes not cocaine is 1 hell of a drug
He's his own industry and maybe just paying respect to what made him. I wouldn't expect much from him fighting wise at this point
@chadz393 he has been fighting all champs lately you must be a casual
I feel like he took the second Dustin fight seriously but got his leg chewed off.
What a great interview! Two professionals. All the best Conor
I see him more focused than ever, and in a way he’s matured his abilities and skills even more.
He’s been on the nose bag. He’s not focused whatsoever.!
yeah, keep dreaming. Dude will never come back in a proper way. It's all hype and marketing. Dude probably can't even run a mile without dying.
I dont. He looks full (not hungry).
Ive seen this comment on every mcgregor interview, i think hes done unfornately. I hope im wrong
we will see...
As a person who's suffered a very simular injury as Connor during a motorcycle accident I couldn't imagine using that shin to block or throw kicks hats off to him my accident was 5yrs ago and I'm still not comfortable with it and baby it daily it's just not the same
I am currently recovering from a very similar injury from a car accident. I applaud him for even thinking about getting back at it.
Yeah but You don’t have access to the new age medical help he does.
If you had that kind of money you’d be able to do that too.
Who da fook is this guy!!!! Nahh I’m joking 😂
@D C It's crazy... if he's able to kick properly with it I'd love to know how they managed it. Is there any information on what kind of procedure he's had or how it differs to a normal repair?
I've have a plate in my tibia for 4 years now. I couldn't kick anything even 50% without that being incredibly painful, I would love for it to be removed actually - sounds like Conor is keeping his in.
@kiddkaos1 if imagine he's had access to really decent healing compounds such as GH or testosterone, or various other peptides. Plus he will have had access to THE best specialists in the world with the amount of money he had made. How the other half live!
1.2 million views for this interview already. Connor still number 1 draw in MMA no 🧢 😂😮
Nobody says no cap bro and go achieve ur own shit
Seeing him speak calmy and coherently after those weird interview in his pub is a relief.
He's still jittery here
He’s yelling over the noise and feeding off the energy in those interviews. This one is more subdued
he's just been out of the game, like a recluse for a long time. he's unsure of himself right here and TOO calm
because i think this interview was much prior to the pub interview. they just released it now
Calmly?? Hahaha…
Regardless of your opinion of Conor, he can learn and adapt. Love him or hate him, he’s changed the game🤝🏽 win or lose, I’m a Conor fan. Good on you mate 🤘🏼
I really hope that he wins this upcoming fight against Michael, as long as this time around he maintains his calmness and composure. That is his biggest advantage in the octagon. During his last fight with Dustin, he was in a rush to knock him out and when things started going south for him, he lost his composure, became desperate and panicked, and ended up breaking his own leg. So, I hope this time around he takes time with his opponent and empty his mind without anticipating any outcome.
Hes got his downsides and his demons but i really hope to see him conquer those things and be the real idol and inspiration he can be. This show also shows his compassion for other fighters (unless hes fighting them lmao)
Conor’s interviews are the only interviews I can sit through fully
tik tok generation cant focus on anything in life lol
@Tony Soprano Classic generalisation comment 😂
he has drastically changed for good, unbelievably more mature and deep, you can clearly see he has gathered wisdom within himself.
Yes but don't worry old Connor still there a fighter to the end
You rarely ever see Conor this relaxed. Still very confident, but relaxed. You love to see it. He's being honest with himself. Even if he loses, ultimately, you just want to see the guy happy. And Conor is someone who has shown that money doesn't bring fulfillment -- he's still fighting to fight, and that is the main aspect of life that brings him life.
This didn’t look relaxed at all, he was extremely fidgety.
Relaxed? The guy jiggin like crazy
Lmao yeah he seems like he's disconnected or some shit
he's just been out of the game, like a recluse for a long time. he's unsure of himself right here and TOO calm
Ah Conor. Part of me likes him, and can see he's grown, another part of me finds it funny that he still believes that he can visualize and "the secret" his way into success. The game's moved on, he's not the top dog anymore, and his difficulty with admitting that he's not entitled to it seems to be what holds him back.
Miss this guy man he’s what the game is all about need him back Dana
Like seeing Coner calm and just have a good interview. Nice to see that side of him.
This man is at peace... amazing to see and listen to his wisdom.
Love him or hate him. UFC is fun when Conor is around. I like the fact that he is talking about run and consistency. Hope he stays more active after the Chandler fight. Also hoping that the Chandler fight happens this year
He's been talking like that all these years with nothing to show for it
Honestly couldn’t give a f about anyone else in the UFC. the day Conor retires is the day I’ll probably stop following the UFC at all 🤷♂️
@Danzan Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but that’s an absolutely horrendous one
Couldn’t agree more! The NFL is better when Dallas is relevant, the NBA is better when the Lakers are relevant, and MLB is better when the Yankees are relevant.
@lostadonna agreed lol. Ive been a big fan before Conor and will always be. I just think he makes it exciting. But there is a lot of talent coming up rn.
He really needs this win to still be considered one of the best. He is right about Chandler being the perfect opponent for his style of fighting so it should be a easy win for him
Depends on how he loses. He still is or was one of the best strikers we've ever seen. If he gets consistently dropped and KO'd, then I get it. But if he still able to bang on the feet, but loses to overpowering grapplers, it doesn't sting as much. I wanna see how he deals with guys like Fiziev and Gatheje.
Conor is 3-4 since 2016 and hasn’t won a fight in almost 4yrs.
99% of people would never step foot in an Octogan again if they had a fraction of his net worth. Whether u love or hate conor you have to respect his love for the game and what he did for the sport.
I'd love to see Connor take a thorough run at 155 or 170. Start at number 10 and get a four fight win streak and then Title shot. He's an interesting for so many people.
You can hear it in how he speaks how bad he wants to be back in the mix full time, shame the injuries have kept him out for awhile but I think hes really gonna make another serious run.
It is good to see Conor in a great state of mind and respectful. You can have your grudge, but not against everybody! I love seeing him praise Aldo as he should!
At least in the video and on camera.
I miss mr "apoligize to absolutely noone" 😢
Your kidding right? Dude is weening off the white powder. I've had friends who did coke, when they aren't on a line they get a bit restless like Conor here.
Great state of mind? You using the same stuff as Conor, I can tell.
khabib made him super humble
Nowadays you see up and coming fighters trying to imitate Conor but there will never be another Conor. He evolved this sport to an international level. Respect
Ever seen Ian Garry fight?
@VanGoNow nope, but how is that relevant?
It's really entertaining that Conor is here and Chandler is crazy enough by himself already! But I don't know if I am as excited as I would be if they had already had signed the contract to fight and there was a date set on it. Or if Conor's opponent was someone in the top 3 of either lightweight or welterweight like a Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje, Colby or Belal where we could see some real animosity and a potential title fight straight after. Conor taking so long to enter the USADA pool while just doing promotion like this (TUF) on the side doesn't get me as hyped up as knowing he'll fight a top contender soon unfortunately.
Let's go Conner, keep that focus! When you do that, your truly unstoppable! #🇮🇪
He speaks of consistency as if he is in control of that. Obviously he was in control of his inconsistencies and decision making so what has happened, simply , is. Consistency is is an illusion in a world that is inconsistent and impermanent. May both Warriors leave the battlefield, enlightened with what they have been given and worked for and manifested. May there blessings rain on to all and may all curses be lifted and transmuted Higher, collectively .
Love and Serve. You, i, we.
The more I follow this guy, the more I like him. ❤

Megan always kills it with the questions 💯
Quit simpin’ bro, she’s not gonna read ur comment
Admiration for what you have accomplished! I truly believe you are a good man despite some of your past antics. Start winning again.
Great interview, he gets alot of stick from haters, but he's on point. Let's go Conor!!
Its crazy that with all the weight cuts he's done, he's never missed weight or ducked out of fights.
Win or lose, Connor is a good fighter.
He's only lost to killers and legends.
Lol i certainly wouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed if i lost to Khabib or Dustin or Nate.
Those 3 are all incredible at what they do.
Cool dude! Strong in spirit, full of energy.
Absolutely amazinga to hear Connor speaking as a humble man
Good interview, he seemed pretty composed. That said, I miss the old Conner - full of fire and confidence, but I suppose having a family and all changes things. Wish him the best.
Nice comment
I never was a boxing or any fighter but Coner is a good Man 🦸♂️ a Superhero and role model 👏
Megan always has such a sweet and respectful interveiw style I love their chemistry
We have to respect this man. He's willing to fight anyone. Win lose or draw he is down to fight. We know he doesn't have to.
McGregor Forever was intense. Glad he showed his downs. You really see how far he has fallen yet he still owns complete confidence. It's obvious to everyone except Conor. His team pretends that his way is the right way. Dee is behind him and there for him. Roddy is the only one who seems to give him decent tactical advice. Can't wait for more.
Talking like you know the whole team
@rockyshilly Yo Rock!!!! How you doin?
U do know conor had no control over the documentary of what was showed lmao so he didnt show the downs that wasnt his choice.
It was a fun, but they don't show anything in it if you wanted to learn about his life.
@garrettchin4923 yeah I'm sure the Executive Producer had no input
I would LITERALLY move to the old country to train with him. Wouldn't think twice. I bet he ends up coaching a few future champs.
This is the Connor that I like. Yes the brashness is entertaining. The only time I did not like it was in the presser for 3rd Poirier when he attacked his wife. Even Poirier was like is that all you got. I do like how he showed respect to Aldo, and basically all who have been willing to step in there with him. This looks like the real person.
You can clearly see that Connor is still a student of the game…👏👏👏
McGregor seems more human here. More like himself. More humble. Breaking eye contact. Laughing. Smiling. Please god, one more run
I've been skeptical about his re-entry but open to his future fighting opportunities. However, what I can't deny is how healthy he looks. Damn!
Just from the pose of Connor in the thumbnail I can tell this is going to be nice Connor
The real Conor you mean
@Karen Took the Kids 😊😊
He's most of the time himself when he's being interviewed
He seems kinda sober too
@patrick batemanhe's gonna be getting tested a lot soon, he better get used to that
Fuck what the haters say, Conor is as cool as they come when he's in interview form. Confident, well spoken, & has world class accolades. Wish this interview was an hour long
People forget his reign he is a beast, one of a kind
I hope he gets a third title, Conor making history 💪🏼
😆 Conor is 3-4 since 2016 and hasn’t won a fight in almost 4yrs 😝 Come on really another title.
1.7 M views in 3 dAYS!!!Only conors charisma can do that!!!Legend👊👊👊
He can do anything now, looking forward to this guys actions. Always good to see a living Legend.
Conor… I’d like to see him strike greatness again while doing it humbly. He brought so many eyes to the sport, if he could redeem and make his legacy mean something more I’d like to see it. His head has to be all in, his body has to be healthy.
We’ll see what his last real chance looks like I guess
Bro he’s a coke head 😂😂😂
He’s done as a legit challenger
Unfortunately humble doesn't sell. The only guy who really cracked it was GSP
The games evolved too much
D rider
A million views in just 12 hours and #7 on trending. He has immense popularity.
If he could just forget all the trash talk and the flash, if he could just focus on the craft of fighting and his development as a martial artist, that'd be ideal. The guy is a super gifted martial artist, and if he could just focus on that, that'd be the best thing for him. Forget all the bullcrap, focus on the craft. Dude is way too talented to have to rely on anything else
Always have been. A huge Conor fan. I’ve never bet against him in a fight except Diaz. But even that felt shaky for me. I think if he is in a good head space at the time of the fight and Chandler stays on his feet then Conor Will probably catch him and knock him out. If Chandler plays it smart and drags him down and keeps him down then he can win. But… Conor is extremely hard to get down and even then in the first 30 seconds he can pop back up very quickly especially if he gets scooted to the cage. So this one is extremely tricky to predict.
Connor lost me at 3:45. That wounded child is alive and well.
This is the stuff I wanted to hear from Conner! His talking about committing himself back to the sport is what he needs and sounds like what he is doing!
He’s a great salesman. He gets you lot on every return.
Great speaker who makes people believe what he’s saying.
Dude's been on camera partying every day...while Chandler's been training three times a day. Conor is all talk by this point.
Needs to get off the Colombian first
I guess you didn't see the recent Helwani interview or the videos of him out of it in Monaco?
He's not fighting anyone!
Very true, Connor says this everytime he comes back, a great salesman
I am so happy and grateful for your hard work, dedication, and spiritual endurance!
It’s hard to believe this is even real. He’s like a mythical beast.
Honestly LOVE how he said F Dustin and the other guys, but gave respect to Diaz (& probably Aldo)
Whether you like it or not,, Conor is one of the icon in this sport
Happy to see him praise God. A champ no matter what
At the end of the day whether you love him or hate him, he is a pioneer. Many people say he is washed up and if he is it doesnt matter. He set the bar for future fighters. Now chasing multiple titles is the goal. No one else has done that.
Pioneer in what exactly? You might want to read up the definition of the word first
@Carl Sagan Someone who is referred to as a pioneer in a particular area of ACTIVITY is one of the first people to be involved in it and develop it. Conor is a pioneer. He was the first fighter to become a champ champ in multiple weight classes. He paved the way for upcoming Irish fighters. I know this may have gone over your head so I apologize for losing you in the process. There is an Irish flag on the UFC belt because of him is that not a pioneer?
This was a good interview. He seems extremely focused and has regained that laser focus on the game like he had at the beginning.
its the only recent interview ive seen of him where he clearly isnt on cocaine.
@gar beal yeh same ... sadly
@gar beal I think the money went to his head in all honesty, he earned a lot of money very quickly. Now that he’s settled down and is used to having generational wealth I think he’s refocused on his overall goals
Sounds like what I'd say to beef up a c.v.
For those who don’t know, Conor used to be clean shaven during his days fighting in Cage Warriors. This is a throwback look.
Megan, it's going to be the greatest comeback in sports history!
It's weird how people forget BJ Penn was a double champ before Conor and the only reason he wasn't Champ in two divisions at the same time is because Dana told him he had to vacate before he moved up.
Used to see Brad Katona in the old gym I went to on and off, cool to see that he’s travelled the world training and competing.
WOW! What a revelation! He has a house in Las Vegas and his family with him! Man, has he matured in 2 years. If you read this, kudos to you, Mr. McGregor, for being the stand up man I am seeing you become. I hope you do not stop.
He seems in a great place mentally. Hope his leg is good for kicking I'd love to see him put on a vintage performance. If he reclaimed gold again it would be an amazing achievement
No he doesn’t at all 😂😂 the man is on the bag partying everyday since finishing TUF. The man is not winning and I find it hard to even see him fighting. Couldn’t possibly be in USADA pool at the moment the way he’s going.
@Amir Ardat You have nothing good to say about someone you don't really know. Ok.
You really think so? He seems mentally turned off and anxious to me. Slouched, playing and fidgeting with his hands.
this is the most grounded i've ever seen Conor in an interview. not gonna lie the calmness is terrifying while he still has his small "old Conor" sass.
Behind all the noise, ufc fighter's have balls of steel, props to anyone that gets in that cage and wants to do it as a career. These guys aren't white belts, they are todays warrior's and conor is one of them.
i cant wait for this fight. Conor and Chandler are both INSANE!!!!
It's good to see Conner back. He just drags the UFC up to another level. True legend of an era, 1 in a billion.
This is the healthiest Conor has looked. From interviews to even TUF promos, he didn't look right. Looked like he never sleeps lol. He looks trimmer here, and his eyes look more alert.
Strange to see him talking normally, usually he seems badly affected by things that he's taking. Good for him.
