Infinity Ward did not want to listen to player feedback so Acti went "Alright, DLC cancelled for ya. Sledge, have it"
mw2 was originally announced to be the first game to break the annual release cycle for cod. told us mw2 would be the main game for 2 years. cooperate fat cats didn't like that idea, because less luxury yachts this year for them. so they then changed it to being a $70 DLC for mw2 that was gonna drop this year. Players all said that $70 for a DLC was wild af, and that nobody would buy it. So now that same DLC is being sold as a game. Its literally the same game, just with a few more maps and guns, just like every other cod dlc of the past. if you buy this, you're part of the problem.
Please let there be a theater mode where we can make our own cinematic masterpieces like this trailer. Imagine the marketing the playerbase would bring to the table with such a feature. People like @Kaiser would be able to make even better edits and keep the game in the public eye.

I can’t tell the difference in terms of graphics between mw2 and this. It looks cool, but it really just looks like a improved mw2 ngl. I also wondered why they’d wait until mw3 to give us mw2 maps when we played mw2 for an entire year and couldn’t get any of the older maps. Hopefully they actually bring back some og mw3 maps as well

This entire game was originally a dlc that why the graphics or gameplay won't be changed
Especially when the mw2 maps are already IN MW2. High rise, rust, terminal, and Afghan are all in the game already

@Dargonright before the beta ??… they literally said they were putting terminal in the game and ended up putting sum bs Warzone location airport and never put it in multiplayer or anything lol and they promised to be a 2 year cycle and ended up lying and making a whole new one and charging for it lol

MW2 (2009) is my favourite cod. The amount of memories on that game were surreal. From SnD to Mike Myers with the boys, it’s lovely to see the iconic maps of my childhood make a proper return!🔥👌

Yeah I feel the burnout. Content that could have been in MWII ... or the maps in the MW2 Remaster multiplayer we all wanted years ago. The classic maps won't save you from SBMM and hit reg not working due to poor tick rate servers lol

They need to make ping/latency a priority and match everyone together. Can't stand it when I'm doing well and then SBMM puts me in a lobby across the country where I now have 80-100 ping and I die before I even see enemies
Oh cool! It's a game I already played, but now with maps I already played. Loving the 3 seconds of mp gameplay in a 2 minute mp trailer - again - totally not a red flag.
The editing feels like old-school montage videos which is appropriate seen as it's MW2 MP maps but modernised too. Very nice.

I will say this is what we wanted from MW2... Since this MW3 feels like what the true MW2 was supposed to be. Also with the till I collapse music, which was used in the 2009 MW2 trailer!

This trailer was phenomenal. My only problem: why wasn’t this content just delivered in MW2? My reason for purchasing will be the player base moving and the stunning content that could’ve been. No more 10 new bundles a week, no more taking DLCs to new games, and more delivery with the games you release.

Ohmygod I've waited years for them to finally bring back real modern warfare not weird timelines not playing in world war world war not anything weird just straight-up modern warfare with modern places modern weapons and they're finally bringing back our maps that we have been missing for years to play on I'm excited I love call of duty I played every call of duty ever made more than once thank you for finally listening to us and bringing back everything that made call of duty great now if you only allow us to shoot while parachuting again that would be awesome and some of our favorite weapons like a metal baseball bat from cold war wink 😉😉.
I absolutely love Call of Duty, and I have been playing faithfully since 2005..... and I'll be playing until I'm too old to hold a controller....

Im MW2 jaded and looks like MW3 is the game i really wanted to play.
this is what we were supposed to get last year. so im torn between not buying it because of all the lies and all the undelivered content we were promised, but part of me wants to buy it because this is what we were supposed to have so now i dont want to miss out on it since it’s finally here.

A higher health value doesnt change anything on its own. It just gives the devs the option to better balance the weapons
