All of Mavs' videos are so relaxing and you can see just how much effort is put into it
I was thinking the same thing.
Way more effort behind the scenes
He's got hired guns to sort out these videos.
yep he goes the extra mile to make you feel you are there with him lol.
I want to see you take Steve on an epic multi state road trip. Or even better, a trip through all of the territories in Canada.
I wanna see him renovate the humvee Ik it’s not practical for long trips but could still be cool to see
Fr Mav has all these cool vehicles but we never see them
I thought you were talking about Steve Wallis
I’d also love to see a trip in Steve
Legally filming in Canada on a commercial project as a US Citizen is almost impossible. A youtube channel makes money, so it's considered commercial. You need a TRV, to be temporarily in the union OR approved by the union, fill out an impact statement, and have a positive labor impact, state how many jobs it will make, hire canadians for jobs they are qualified for, etc.
The fact that Mav is still making great content like this after all these years, is something i aint taking for granted, thank you for opening my eyes to some incredible places.
Sunday night saved by Mav ✔️
I always look forward to Mav's Sunday night videos!
Right 🎉
About to go bed mav kept me up with this video
Monday morning here
9/11 did Bush
I have no doubt that your mom and dad are so proud of you Maverick. Adventures always calling and Mav is answering. ❤️🇨🇦
We are so proud of Mav! Thank you so much.
Watching Mav’s videos just makes me realize how I’m truly not happy in life. Making me wanna just… uproot my whole life and just go anywhere other than the normal everyday scenery I see on a daily. You’re a true inspiration Mav and I love and appreciate your content so much!!🫶🏾
If you can do it, I recommend it. We've been on the road for 8 years and it was the best decision I've ever made!
Watching Mav gives me a similar sentiment I love the idea of doing half the thing things he gets up to but I he also just gives me good vibes in general. life really got going for me again this year, work a job you can disengage from and start working out/going outside everyday you’ll feel better wherever you are. Also if you find inner peace/motivation where you are now you can find it anywhere and you probably should before risking going elsewhere if you still cant find it there.
Where do you live
@Kris B Travels TN.
@Peed O'Phile less benzos more air.
OMG! It's already been a year since your Alaska trip with your mom and dad 😲 it is really crazy how fast time goes the older we get 🤯
It flew by! We sure had a great adventure with Mav in Alaska.
Oh wow! 😮🤯 That trip with his parents just seemed like yesterday!! 😳
I was thinking the same thing!
That moment of peace by the fire was super nice. Quiet moments are important and I'd love to see more.
As much as I love your usual rides, it’s always fun to see you driving new cars that aren’t part of your fleet bc the viewers get to learn about the vehicle in about the same time as you.
Sound of the wind in the trees, really relaxing. Great Vid Mav, live your life❤
In a truck, he roams the land so wide,
Mavrik Joos, an outdoorsman with pride.
From Alaska's icy peaks to Mexico's warm embrace,
And Canada's wilderness, he finds his sacred space.
Beneath the open sky, he sets his camp with grace,
A wanderer, a nomad, in every wild place.
With his trusty truck, his shelter on the go,
He seeks adventure where the winds may blow.
In the back of his rig, he crafts his hearty meals,
Over open flames, his culinary skills reveal.
Cooking beneath the stars, with nature all around,
His recipes echo with the wilderness' profound sound.
A campfire's glow, his stories in the night,
Underneath the northern lights' ethereal light.
Mavrik Joos, a man of the great outdoors,
In his truck, he finds freedom, and so much more.
Through forests, mountains, deserts, and more,
Mavrik Joos, a wanderer we truly adore.
In the back of his truck, he's found his way,
To live and love the outdoors, every single day.
I was born and raised in Alaska. It's great to see you showing the world its beauty! Love the content Mav!
Its one of my dreams to be able to visit it one day. Im from europe so it will be a bit of a challenge.
I just moved out of Alaska after living there for 4.5 years and these videos hit the spot. Really miss living there. A part time house for you up there would be great - adventuring as much as you do for content, it would be hard to do that full time, but Alaska has so much to explore and offer.
Keep up the good work as always Mav
I'm glad you explained why you're in Alaska at the end of this video. I've been scratching my head trying to figure out if you went from Utah to Alaska or if these videos were left over from your previous trip there. Each time I thought I had it figured out, you would say something to confuse me again. Do as many trips in Alaska as you want. I love watching UAclips videos and TV programs from there. It's such a beautiful place. I really need to take a trip there myself. Keep on trucking!
Good to see you Mav, that was some good fishing 🎣 , keep on Truckin❤
I inherited my Dads Vanagon Westy 3 years ago. You're one of the channels I started watching when I got it. Your videos helped me feel confident enough to get out and start using my Westy. It was so cool seeing you in one, it was almost like a weird crossover episode for me. Glad you liked it!
Hi Mav, your videos took me through covid times … and I still enjoy your pretty authentic - as I assume - content! Unagitated, cool, love it!
Born & bread Alaska grown Alaska Fed ❤ I can’t believe you came to Anchorage what the heck Mav in my hometown crazy days!! I could totally see you living here especially because you enjoy doing outdoor activities and adventures this is like one of theee best places to do so hunting fishing snowboarding snowmobiling camping all that and then some!! Beautiful wooden cabins and houses out there in Fairbanks and very pricey as well lol great video as usual Mav keep on truckin Blessings and Love 🫶🏽😍
You have to appreciate how freakin' busy Mav is when his finger is STILL jacked from the drone incident "way back" when he stayed at the underwater hotel in Sweden. This guy is a beast! Thanks Mav for all your hard work and amazing videos!
That looks like so much fun in such a beautiful area
I’m all for a homemade ribs Mav video! Thanks for all the content, Mav. Much ❤️ from 🇨🇦!
Mav: “Guess we’re going to have to get some salmon at the grocery store”
Also Mav: proceeds to walk out with ribs! 😂😂
I hope he peeled the silver skin off those ribs. I didn't see him. Lol.
They didn't have salmon as he mentioned.
Was thinking why he couldn't have saved a rainbow to eat instead :) They no good?
if there's one person id truly want to spend a day with, it would be mavrik. truly a person who can put a smile on ones face even through a video.
So cool watching videos of people doing stuff in your own home state, like fishing on the kenai river or staying at hidden lake campground. Just nice seeing people visiting and enjoying your home date and what it has to experience
"There's no way I would touch that with a 10 foot pole." Proceeds to touch the dead fish 😂 love your videos Mav!!
Hey mav, love your work been watching your journey for a while absolutely top notch keep up the good work. Might i suggest a series on some fishing tips or a how to on ice, river, sea fishing how you started, the gear that you use and what you've learnt over the years .
Thanks ❤from🇮🇳
Mav I love your videos. Keep up the good work
I love watching these videos at night there so chill and relaxing thanks for making great content Mav
Uploaded just in time for this long drive I got 😅
It would be cool to see more travels in Alaska! Great videos
That is a dream trip of mine. Looks like so much fun. Mav you are on one lately. Safe travels.
If you ever end back up in Missouri, I know of some amazing spots to camp, fish, and float.
Thanks for another great adventure, Mav!!! ❤
I'm so excited you came back to Alaska. I may be biased of my home state, but it's pretty great! It's interesting to see it from a new perspective
I'd love more Alaska content. A road trip from MN to Fairbanks would be incredible for the channel. Fish and cook your way. And don't rush!
Never a dull moment with Mav.
Would love to see more Alaska content ❤
Every time Mav tries out a new vehicle I wanna buy one! The Westie looks like so much fun! Thanks for taking us with you Mav! So much fun!
Wonder if Mav ever hears freaky sounds in the forests.
Every time I watch you cook it looks like it's your first time.
i’ve been watching for over a year now. i still laugh every time mav gets a bottle of olive oil and tries to pour it, then realizes he has to take the small cap off too😂
Always killing it with the content dude, been here since the beginning and love the channel.
Hey Mav, loved this video! That lake looked absolutely beautiful and peaceful out there. Those ribs looked killer and the van definitely had a sweet setup. Gotta try it with Steve next time! Stay safe.
I wasnt sure how your content could get better, but an Alaska based Mav would be EPIC.
More Alaska content will hit the spot ❤ you are awesome, Mav!
Nice catches. Yummy ribs. Cool van. Thanks for sharing.
I love how mav is such a family man
Great video Mav, really enjoy your videos in Alaska and looking forward to the next adventure. ❤✌
Thanks Mav for always bringing us these awesome contents i enjoy them very much
Alaska is the state I want to see most. Definitely enjoy the idea of more Alaskan Mav content
Living the life. You know what they say, “do something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”. Thanks for taking us along with you. While we’re not there, we are enjoying your adventures and the joy you get from them. It allows us to see places we maybe never would have.
Always a good day when mav uploads, would love to see a collab with the outdoor boys or Ryan twomey! Cheers!
I love Alaska! I hope you get that house in Fairbanks, that would be so cool. Thanks for another interesting, fun video. You are the best!
PS: I love your beautiful family❤
"There's no way I'd touch that with a 10 ft pole" then proceeds to touch it the next second 😂
Literally my first thought loool
I love how you keep coming back to Alaska. So many people/UAclipsrs come for a couple videos and miss out on so much of the unique experiences.
So interesting to hear your accent in Alaska, I was in Alaska for 3 years and there's a lot of mid westerners from MN and WI that live in Alaska now. there are deep ties. Also bears definitely also eat sockeye salmon and with it being late in the summer thats the most dangerous for bears because theyre hungry.
Loved the van transition. That was pretty neat. That Westfalia is sweet. 💚
Great vehicle! What a great river for some fishing. Looks like everybody had a great time. Good luck with your house hunting, Mav.
Awesome video MAV and the rental was cool Ribs and veggies looked yummy as well !!!
Mav see's a rotting fish:
"I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole"
Proceeds to grab it with his hands 😂
Love seeing some fellow albertans!! Mav you need to come up here, visit Banff, Waterton, jasper ect!! Lots of tourists for sure but do a little exploring and you'll find some unreal places devoid of people ! I rarely comment on UAclips videos but you gotta check out alberta ! Ryan twomey said Banff area was the most beautiful he had ever been in ! From the prairies, badlands in drumheller, the mountains in the west Alberta has it all!
I remember my family rented one of those when we went to Norway/Sweden when I was a kid. Drove from Oslo in Norway up, down, and across to Oland on the east coast of Sweden visiting relatives. The van made the trip a real adventure! Thx for sharing
A Mav X Outdoor Boys collab in Alaska would be epic
Hey Mav,
The fishing looked great! Those salmon were beautiful, I love the red color. Someday I’ll eat a fresh caught salmon cooked on a wood fired grill. Making me hungry already.
I really enjoy all your trips. You make it look easy and I know you have fun. Keep on trucking!
As always,
Watching from Oklahoma
Thanks,
Jeff
I love watching your channel man. Really makes me want to get out and go camping again.
Stay safe out there.
I have a cousin who lives somewhere in Alaska and he loves it. Does alot of hunting and probably fishing. I think he mostly hunts with his two sons. Great video Mav. Those ribs do look really good. Asparagus not ao much lol. Tyfs God bless you
Hey Mav. Another great vid! I love when you are out there in nature.. It's where you need to be.. The ribs are ribbing. Enjoy!! 🤤🥰❤️🐞
It would be pretty cool if you did a colab with the Outdoor Boys! They do alot of Alaskan adventures which I think you'd enjoy
Do you ever wish you had someone to go on all the cool adventures you do
Therapeutic Sundays with Mav to start our weeks right ❤
What a cool van....what a great video! So much fun going along on your adventures....cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
This boy never disappoints, greetings from Chile🇨🇱 (not Texas)
Would love to see Mav as a guide 😂 this content is top tier all the time.
Man I’d love to go on a road trip with my pops to go catch some salmon in Alaska! He said while he was stationed there when he was my age it was some of the best times!
i admire your life man. Just traveling the world and cooking over an open fire. thats the life
Mav, you have to come to Soldotna during the Sockeye run like middle of July to the end of August! I was born and raised here and it’s world famous for Red fishing. We get tourist from all over the world. And they are amazing eating. Would make a great catch and cook video. We also have amazing camping spots, as you’ve seen. If you ever make it back down this way, let me know and I’ll show you some awesome fishing spots on the river and some awesome camping spots
I also went salmon fishing in late july in coopers landing! I was fortunate enough to only catch fresh sockeye. It would have been sick to meet you. I'm watching this video noticing the same places I went to!
I have no doubt that your mom and dad are so proud of you Maverick.
We couldn't be prouder! Thank you.
It would be so dope if you collabed with the outdoor boys!
Was wondering where/how you booked this trip. Would love to take my dad up there. Love your content!
Do more fly fishing! This was awesome!
New to your channel and I LOVE it! You're easy on the eyes, makes it even better. 😊 Stay safe.
Love the Sunday evening Mav video's
If I had a dollar for every time Mav opened up a brand new olive oil bottle and didn’t pull the tab of before trying to pour it I’d be doing ok 😂
5 dollars?
Yes!!! And how many half used bottles of EVOO does he have lying around! Great stuff though!
@Charlie I’ve been watching mav for like 3-4 year definitely would cover at least a quarter of my bar tab lol and that would be alright 😂
Lol!
I’ve lived here my whole life, it’s cool seeing you visit my home places and do the things we do
You are an easy going guy, Mav. Easy to be a fan of yours. Keep on fishin’.
Wow! That's awesome! It would be cool to live there! Just kinda expensive...
Loved the fishing excursion, never seen red salmon!
VW T3 is a really nice car! I just built a camping van out of my old VW T4 because you inspired me :D greetings from Germany Mav!
Haven't been fishin in forever, makes me want to go Alaska
That would be great to see you in Alaska permanently!
You would not lack for content for your videos!
nice absolutely beautiful night, great video as always. Amazing how much you’ve grown since I first started watching under 100k subscribers now 2.5 million congrats on your success ❤😊
.
Just subbed to you today. I actually was hiking in YOHO National Park and randomly met your parents and they told me about your channel. Looking forward to checking it out. Cheers!
Mavs technique to season asparagus is an art 🤌🏽
Wish I had a van to do stuff like this.
Thanks for the video
Grew up in Alaska. Always looked forward to Kenai Lake and River. The color of the water was a treat to see!
You just made my night so relaxing.
I envy you guys, out in the wild living life 😍 Water over here is toxic
I can believe that you couldn’t get salmon in the stores. When I was up there I bought it at the boat docks. And yes all food is more expensive than in the 48. Thanks for another great video.
I like watching your day as you maneuver and adapt. No fish. Just ribs. 😆. I think I would've snuck me a fish in travel. Sometimes after fishing and smelling the air. I want steak or/Mexican.
I have been waiting all week for this drop. Great to see you with Mom and Dad. I didn't know that info about Sockeye not being good to eat sometimes. I need to Google that and find out all about that. Interesting infor. I eat alot of Salmon, wild caught Sockeye and love it Soo much. Alaska is beautiful. Such a wild and unspoiled place. Truly, I would fall in love with Alaska I am sure. That Westfalia rocks. I loved the colour. I love the simplicity of those late models. Not all the computer gizmos in them. I like the new cars and trucks as well but just for the sake of simplicity, I would love having my VW Van still. Great video Mav. Thanks for taking me along via video! Until next Sunday. See you then.
Love the westfalia I’ve actually looked into getting one myself! Like the underwater shot. Another great vid
