Your narration is engaging and funny, the games you choose to play are always unique and relatively unknown, and your editing has only improved with time. For the first time in forever Josh actually feels bad for brutally torturing and murdering humans and animalsin game even tho he does in all his videos lol
I think it's because there's a layer of separation in the knowledge that what he's doing isn't real, at least subconsciously. When that layer of separation broke, his mind immediately went to the horrifying truth, of what exactly the subtext meant and what he was doing.
I mean he really only felt bad for the animals now that you mention it

I’m pretty sure the entire game is symbolic. All of the weapons in the game seem to be different ways us humans are affecting earth, with the *ahem* exploding poops being a symbol of us polluting the air, the fire being global warming and the gun being hunting animals to extinction, or war. The blob may be an alien, but I think it could also be a metaphor for how us humans are destroying ourselves with what we’re doing, and dragging the rest of earth down with us.

That symbol on the flying saucer isn't bad. It's called the "Iron Cross" and is still used by Germany's armoured battalions to this day
It was the official symbol for the Wehrmarcht, the German army during world war two, so you could argue that it was bad, but then the Germans wouldn't be using it today🤔

The Iron cross / bar cross isn't bad - it's still the symbol of the luftwaffe. You can destroy the Earth completely guilt free :)
Though given that it's a saucer, it's probably supposed to be a Reichsflugscheibe. Which just reminds me of Iron Sky.

@EnjoyCocaColaLight Im actually sure its for the theory of how Adolf never died and instead was transferred to antarctica to continue his work which involves UFOs. If you want to read about this yourself, "Proyecto Ovnis" by Pablo Santa de la Vega covers it. Its in spanish though. Im sure you can find other sources if you dig deep enough.
I like to imagine that this game broke the last thread of humanity that was left in Josh and now he is an all powerful, all apathetic, being to virtual dimensions.

He did that a lot more in the earlier videos (this counts as an earlier video). There are very few Graces to be found in these earlier videos (although I like to imagine that she was in the one car that got away, and was able to see the world's destruction happen around her as she begged to die).

Came back to watch this because Suicide Squad 2 actually reminded me that this game exists. Mr. Patrick Star and the destruction breeds some interesting similarities.

The funny thing about this game is that it feels like something Josh would likely actually make without meaning to just to torment people... but its also got a maze

That's kind of the point, isn't it? It twists the knife real good to drive home the fact that this is what we're up to on the planet today.
Cognitive and emotional dissonance is created by the fact that all the onscreen destruction and senseless violence and gore that gamers often find so entertaining is in this case an allegory for the very real, rather than just another escapist fantasy...

The symbol on the soucer is an iron cross symbol of the german army since the napoleon wars.... i guess that's just a joke about people that think nazis escaped with saucers to the moon (me german)
And it's actually still used by the Bundeswehr and not the symbol all germans know too well from history classes...
No wonder so many people still think we are nazis if that what Josh says is what they teach people in schools outside of germany...

This game had a first, at least as far as I've ever seen...Josh could even destroy the *credits* while they scrolled by.
All the feels when I figured out that if I wrecked the ocean first, all the life would be driven to shore, and I could complete it WAY faster.

Also, that background on the final level was dizzying in the best way. Don't think I've ever seen something like that in a viddygame before. Awesome vid, dude!

This reminds me of a game I played in the Sega Saturn called Rampage, which was almost the same concept, but in 2D and with the army trying to stop you

I feel like the game was insinuating that their solution the problems in the prompts was the introduction of Pink Blob to the planet, the final prompt being "So now you've played our game, what are your thoughts on our solution the problems of the modern world and will you fund us?"
The iron cross is not a 'bad symbol' as you claimed. It actually goes all the way back to Bizmark
