I liked the analysis of what went wrong for the Ottomans at the end. It gave me a much better understanding of the tactical situation and added more depth to the battle itself. Please see if you can do more of these for your future videos.
It was a pleasure working with HistoryMarche. As a new channel, it’s amazing to see something I worked on garner so much attention. I hope everybody enjoys the video!
As a hungarian and someone who has studied history extensively, i am very impressed with the video and i am looking forward for the next epidode. Thank You!
Wonderful video, the maps are amazing, having been into making rpg world maps in gimp i can really appreciate the work that goes into all the terrain details you include in your videos!
As an Austrian. This content is highly appreciated. Wonderful job as always and u history guys on UAclips put the television content to nothing less then shame. Keep up the great work.
Excellent video as always, although I recommend that you make a correction on the map: it is a mistake to put the regions of Milan, Franche-Comte and Luxembourg, as part of the Austrian Habsburgs, since those territories did not belong to them until the War of Spanish succession at the beginning of the 18th century (with the exception of Franche-Comté which was conquered by France at the end of the 17th century). What I mean is that at the time you place the video, those three regions were part of the Habsburgs of the Spanish Empire, who defended it until the crown passed into the hands of the Spanish Bourbons; Greetings, continue with videos of those centuries. =)
Very interesting video. I’m Hungarian and even I didn’t hear about this battle. In school we usually learn about the sieges. Like the sieges of Eger or Buda.
I love to see this kind of videos back! Love the way you narrate the battles and how you apply the sound effects in accordance with the music. Keep it up!
First of all.. I just finished watching all 3 parts and I must gratefully say: well done! Clear, informative, like much of your other work... what a wonderful channel. On the other hand it is so sad... learning of the pointless deaths of tens of thousands of soldiers from both sides... names unknown, families ruined, towns massacred, borders moved to move again later... it is like watching a video game on replay but then.. this is not a video game. This is not Starcraft. People died for real and badly. And this being just one battle, out of thousands... and we have learned nothing as proven by the current invasion of the Ukraine... we are such a sad species.
I would really love to know how you guys make your maps and videos, they are super detailed and incredible to enjoy. I can watch them for hours. I have seen the Story of Michael the Brave so many times because I enjoy the animation. What software do you guys use for everything? Keep up the good work!

Excellent video. I had never heard of this battle before.
Big thanks for not making assumptions and pointing out disputed details rather than picking the most dramatic version of events.
A video explaining the changes and improovements in warfare tactics between ancient, medieval and pre-modern times would be cool.
Amazing, 24 minutes gone with a snap of a finger. I very much appreciate how you guys stress the confusion of war/fog of war.
Thank you historymarche for taking on my consideration I didn’t expect this tbh but I’m absolutely grateful for the content you provide.
Fascinating how weather and terrain often determines the fate of a campaign as much as the commander's ability.
