I always thought the circus of Deion was fun growing up. But no, he's not turning college football on it's head. There's been plenty of successful coaches at Colorado. Where was their media hype? What makes this 60 year old with gold chains special?

He had no choice. He had to come out like this because he has been running his mouth big time and the players are the ones who have to back up his talk. He has refused to be humble, or act like he's been there before. He put a target on his teams back and that's not fair to his players. Humility and to be humble in victory and to respect his opponents will be key. He had the whole world on his side until he got to Colorado. People noticed how he treated hold over players/coaches from previous year and it was embarrassing. To claim to be a Christian and treat others that way is wrong. This job has gone to his head and I hope he comes out of it a better person.

I'm a lifelong Oregonian. I've watched our team grow from the rough beat down in 1994ish from Penn state in the Bowl game to playing in a couple of National championships. Deon is very great coach and an even better man. I knew going into this game that, while Colorado has a bunch of new names and whole bunch of juice flowing through their team, they were running into a buzz saw in our team....in Autzen. I have zero doubt that Colorado will get through this season and be an unrecognizable team within 3 season. Keep your heads up buffs, we have been in your shoes and we got to see just how much better things can be. You will see it too.

@Dave Shamblin They played for one or two recently. Colorado also played for two (1989 and 1990 seasons) and won 1. Had there been a playoff system in 1994 and 2001, CU might have won another. 1994 in particular. I think all all 22 starters (sorry kickers) played in the NFL.

Congrats to the Ducks in a good home win.. It's amazing for this man (Prime) to put a team together from the freaking ground, then fly halfway across the country to walk through someone else's tunnel with a group of young men half of which probably don't even know what jet-lag is yet. Walk out with your best eleven (11), and line up against a team that's been in the top (10) probably the last (5) years or more. Especially when you have what may be the best pure football player in the country, (T Hunter) and you're facing all of this without him. And still walk up to the podium cool and calm and not complain about officiating or trash anybody. Everybody was held accountable, get on the plane, let's go. We got things to fix.. Nothing but class. They will be the best team in the country, and soon.. Recruits will flock there to play for this man, plain and simple..🏈🏆

@theone Oh but it wasn't so long ago the Ducks were getting that same beat down. So was Alabama, Clemson and a few others. Was it Holly Wood then. Lol 3-1 is so much better than 0-11 at least that's the way I see it. Just let Deion try to run the score up on a beat down team 35-0. You would call him classless. Yes you would. It's all good, trust what goes around comes around.

He’s building up players, developing them/mentoring, doing the marketing for the future pipeline, he has his WHY figured out, most only know HOW or WHAT they do (that’s Simon Sinek’s golden circle BTW).

Why is it on the other person and not on you? Because everyone has the power of choice, the power of thought and the spoken word with the power to control his or her own thinking, speaking, feeling, acting, and reacting. It is each person's God-given responsibility to do this and mind his or her own business!
It is a 24/ 7 job trying to keep your own thoughts, words, feelings, actions, and reactions in line with what you want to accomplish in life to the glory of God! You share and help those who want the knowledge you have and are willing to receive it! If they don't want it and don't agree with it, it is their freedom of choice to reject it! You stay in your mindset and continue to move forward and upward with those who are like-minded!
Never allow yourself to stay stuck! Keep growing and moving forward! This is why Deion had to leave Jackson State and go to Colorado.
He is saying each individual is only accountable for what what that individual person thinks, speaks, feels, acts, and reacts to and not what someone else thinks, speaks, or feels about him . No one else has any power to control your life unless you give them power by receiving and agreeing with what they think, speak or feel about you.
If what someone else thinks, speaks, and feels about you is helpful, encouraging, and will make you better, and your Spirit agrees with it, then you receive what they are thinking, speaking, and feeling about you snd use it to make you get better results in life and grow into a better person expressing more of God.
      .

If anyone noticed he gave the same answer about his son’s playing at QB when they won and lost. “That he has to lock at the whole play, from blocking, to assignments, play calling, etc.” When your answer doesn’t change week to week no matter what the results are you know he is telling the truth and is standing on what he is saying

He the coach for the other team, unless your Colorado fan of course you don't want them to win..
People acting like competition isn't part of sports, what people are tired of is the consist over kill as if he's done anything special , or he's changing the game. He's just another coach..
For Colorado fans , not bandwagon people sure it's something to get excited over, the rest of us don't have to really feel same way.. that's just reality of being one the other teams fans in college football.

Say what you want about Deion! I've loved watching him through his career as a player. So much positive attitude and energy you just can't put him down. OMG I can't wait to see what he does as a coach. If he can instill 1% of his heart and soul to those players, not only will they be great young men but one heck of a football team to watch!

In 1994, the 49ers obtained Deion Sanders. They went 13-3, were the NFC Champs and eventually won the Super Bowl. However, 5 games into the season, they were blown out by the Philidelphia Eagles 8-40. One game doesn't define a season. Deion knows this. However, the Buffs looked terrible and need to regroup and figure out how to strengthen the O-Line and D-Line, otherwise this will continue to happen.
