I can't believe how much I like this peel and stick tile. You're right, it instantly elevated the bathroom and made it seem more inviting. I'm really enjoying you bouncing back and forth between the cottage and the new house. It keeps me on my toes.
Right!!! 💕💕
Ditto
@XOMaCenna looks great. Wanted to let you know they make a floor stripping to put around the toilet base for a clean edge. Can't wait for part 2.
Delfts Blauw (Delft's blue) is a 17th-century pottery style, invented in the city of Delft as a response to the Chinese porcelain styles that the Dutch imported from the East.
I love how they were often handmade for a specific space and depict scenes that represent the owner or the use of the space ❤ It's part of the same movement in the 17th century of turning towards simplicity and the everyday life for inspiration.
I looove when you treat us to these little mini renos before you go for the big ones! It's like there's no fear of "messing up" since it's not permanent, so it's always bold and fun :)
Absolutely in love with the French Provincial vibes in your bathroom! It's incredible what creativity and a small budget can do. Great job
its totally NOT FRENCH!!!
@corricattCalm down. She isn’t finished with it. 😂
@corricatt French influenced then. I think it's fine.
@Katy Bug she thinks dark and moody equals French country.. when I see actual French inspired furniture, maybe I'll calm down.. UAclips influencers think they can change history...
@corricattthey literally said vibes ..so really calm down 😅
Artistry from Momma, meticulous attention to detail from Dad, and of course, supervision from Kinsley... Floor looks fabulous.
I have used peel and stick vinyl planks in my whole house. I did it myself, oh yeah I’m 70 years old. It looks great! Love yours too!
Wow, that’s very impressive! That must have been a big job.
Kudos to you! Huge respect.
You inspire me so. 😊
The floor looks great. Can't wait until you paint the white walls a different colour. I think that will make a huge difference to the feel of the room.
I’m soooo glad you decided to work with the blue tile-even if it’s temporary! It’s such a unique countryside vibey detail that makes this space different from anything you’ve done before! Loving how it’s going!
Floor looks much better. You can roll your towels and store them in the pull out cabinet. That’s what I’d do. You can also add a partition inside it for washcloths and hand towels. I’m thinking about painting my sink hardware brass with a satin overcoat. Hopefully it works out ok.
I received my Aurate notification yesterday for your collection and immediately ordered the mini rose garden ring. I can’t wait to receive it, and I’m so happy I can have a piece of your garden while supporting my favorite creator. Much love and congratulations to you, MaCenna!
Omg yay!!!!! That makes me so happy! Thank you so much! I hope you love it!
Amazing how much the flooring changed the look of the room so much! Beautiful!
Definitely inspired to redo my bathroom floor ❤. Another great DIY upgrade Macenna!
Loving this very accessible and small budget friendly makeover!
I am so glad you're keeping the blue tiles!!!! They are stunning! I'm only 7mins through but I know it's going to look amazing!
MaCenna is literally becoming the Bob Vila of her generation. I love watching a woman tackling home improvement projects and renovations like a beast! But then pull it all together with gorgeous feminine details and style. You’re the whole inspiring package, Lady!! So proud of you. ❤
Ugh that jewelry dish in green is everything !!! 😍 how I want to buy new jewelry so badly lol. Also love this bathroom makeover on a budget 🩶🤎🖤
Hi Macenna, the term Delft tile actually refers to the blue patterning on the tile that originates back to the 16th century. Majority of production occurred in the Netherlands, specifically in the city of Delft (hence its name). Delftware, the distinctive blue patterning, can be found on more than just tile (think pottery, kitchenware etc.) and is a recognized Dutch craft. The pieces can be quite intricate and beautiful!
Would love to see Romeo's reaction to the flooring too! I LOVE this floor and have been wanting to do peel and stick floor tiles as well so I will definitely be trying this! It looks so good in your home!
Congratulations on the jewelry collaboration! Beautiful pieces. ❤
Thank you so much!!!
I love your jewelry. Just bought some
I actually love the pull down drawer. It’s most likely for rolled towels.
DO NOT CAULK AROUND YOUR TOILET!!! When the wax seal for your toilet starts leaking you won't know until the water seeps underneath ALL the tile you just laid, the ceramic tile under that and rot the sub floor. The proper way to do it is to uninstall your toilet, buy a new wax ring, tile up to the wax ring area, place the new wax ring, and reinstall the toilet over the new peel and stick tile.
Loving seeing temporary fixes while you plan for future renovation.❤
The floor looks so good! Great work and attention to detail 👏 👌 👍
Those last few tiles you put on were SO satisfying to watch! Like completing a puzzle 😍 great job as always!! Can’t wait to see the wood-look paint!
I just got my ChrisLovesJulia floor tiles in the mail and can't wait to update mine and my boys' bathroom with them! I'm going for the diamond shape as well since I think it looks more elevated. Can't wait to see the finished project of your bathroom!
Very impressed with your cutting/measuring skills! Can't wait to see the finished bathroom! It's definitely gonna have charm, and you'll enjoy while waiting to renovate. Congrats on your jewelry launch!
I can't wait to see how you refinish the cabinet! I've been wanting to update my painted bathroom cabinets to look like wood again but was so worried I would just make them look awful.
Great job in the bathroom. Looks great. Congrats on your jewelry line, too!!
Love the transformation! Can't wait to see the finished project. 😍
I LOVE the new collection!! When you’re looking for a hinged bracelet and this shows up for a great price! So excited! 💜
So excited to watch this!!! The kitchen turned out so beautifully so can't wait to see what you do with this :)
I absolutely LOVE that floor!!! It looks so much more elevated now. I’ve always wanted a checkerboard flooring in my future house, this just confirms that notion. It looks sooooo good!!!! Also, congrats on the jewelry collab, the collection looks beautiful.
Love that you're tackling your bathroom. You're absolutely right you spend so much time in there, make it yours. Can't wait to see it finished.
Congrats on your jewelry collection!!!
I keep going back and forth on using Peel and stick in my rr and now I think you’ve convinced me. You are such an inspiration on diying and experimenting! Thank you! 💕
Your floors look great! I agree with you about changing the hardware and cabinet color, it’s all going to look amazing😍
The peal and stick tiles look lovely and such an improvement on the flooring. Have you considered covering the tile baseboards with a traditional, wooden baseboard? I think that would really enhance the look you are going for in the bathroom.
Delft is a city in the Netherlands. I live there. Delft blue is a type of “paint” that goes on ceramics like tiles, vases and plates.
The history of Delft porcelain and ceramic manufacturing is so interesting!
Hey Manon,mijn medelander!
❤😂 Groetjes uit Eindhoven!
Groetjes uit Rotterdam :-)
groetjes uit Spijkenisse😊
Can’t go without saying that Delft is super cute. There’s so much art there, I love it!
The floor looks beautiful. A fabulous transformation. 😍
The floor and the color combo looks really nice !
It turned out so good! Excited to see the finished design!
Well no wonder you were ready for your Paris trip , you created all this content for us and didn’t skip a beat!! Wow just wow 🎉❤
I seriously love love love watching you you’re such an inspiration!!!
Almost 1 million followers so happy for you !!!
Absolutely gorgeous.
I can't believe how the tiles have made such an impact❤
MaCcenna!!!!! 🤩This makeover is EVERYTHING!!!🙌🏼 I love it so much already! This is so my style! Your vision for this bathroom is excactly the direction I would have gone with it!!!💠
I love those tiles! I’m going to do that in my kitchen! Same ones! ❤
I love the look so far! I can totally picture the window ls stripped of their paint and refinished and stained/sealed with a wood color! Tedious work, but it would look awesome and bring in more wood tones! I'm looking forward to part 2!
How that lighter tile lined up so perfectly centred with the toilet is *chefs kiss* The level of detail you put into all your projects is incredibly inspiring!
Floor looks beautiful. I'm so surprised you don't like the little blue tiles. They're so French! I love them.
I love this MaCenna!!! I am renovating my house and am going to do something similar in my bathroom. It looks SO good!
Oh my goodness, this is going to be sooooo nice…can’t wait to see final result! 🌷💕
I did this project in my bathroom, ensuite and toilet. It made such a difference. I left a gap for grout and it looks amazing. Cost $200 for all 3 spaces and it was an amazing cosmetic update. It didn't rough my tiles up or use extra adhesive and it's still going strong almost 5 months later. It really elevates the space ❤
I love the floors!! Definitely going to do this for my mom’s bathroom!!
I know these videos aren’t the major home Reno diy’s that we’ve gotten used to in the past two years but I looove these too! They really have the feel of the OG MaCenna videos and these diys feel more accessible to me ☺️.
The floor looks great 😍 can't wait to see it all come together. x
Love the bathroom flooring! It looks beautiful!
simply mesmerizing the tile looks stunning gives lots of movement and character, cant wait to see the result!!! Congrats on the collaboration its so pretty, i loved the trays
I love this. It's going to look so warm and cozy. I can't wait too see what's next.
These are my favorite types of videos! Updates that are doable and affordable and that pack a big punch. Excited to see it all come together. The floor looks great!
Cant believe how beautiful this makeover gonna be… already love it like ur other makeovers!!🥹
I love seeing your thought process and looking for inspiration etc. Looking good so far! 🤩
You make every project look so easy!! Love that flooring! Truly changed the whole room! Can’t wait to see part 2! 💕 Also love your jewelry collection and the story behind is so special! ❤️
I love the way the flooring turned out. I myself have been dying to do a floor this way cause I always love the way it looks when I see it on Pinterest 😍 thank you so much for sharing
Very happy you are keeping the tiles! They look like they have history and are good quality!
I love the floor it looks great! I'm really excited for this mini makeover series 😊
I never comment, but I just want to say your collection with Aurate is so gorgeous, congratulations!! I just bought the mini rose garden ring and I never buy UAclipsr collabs and stuff! I’m so excited for the ring to come in and to see what else you do in the bathroom! ❤❤
I love this! I’m motivated to do my guest bathroom now haha. But I think I’ll do the flooring last since I want to paint the walls and vanity too. Just easier not having to cover the floor up or cleaning paint drips off the floor. This way I can just cover it all up with the new flooring at the end 😁
Wow the peel and stick tile looks amazing! I’m loving this project so far. Can’t wait to see the other updates for the bathroom! I’m just in awe of everything you do! 🤍
Looks amazing! I’ve been wanting to do this for a couple of years now to our guest full bathroom. We renovated everything but the bathrooms when we moved in, so it feels like a time warp when you step into the bathrooms. LOL!
Love the floor!!! It is almost like what we did in our bathroom
Macenna the floor looks amazing.I've looked at these for our bathroom you just gave me the confidence to go for it.❤
I like that you're embracing this temporary stage and being a bit more bold than you might if it were permanent, it's fun! Can't wait to see how the bathroom turns out!
That looks great! 😊 I took the day off from working on our place today, but I’ve got my bathroom floor all sanded and primed, and I’m doing a beautiful Florentine pattern peel and stick, starting early in the morning. I’ll be laying mine diagonally as well, so I’m a bit nervous about a few of the cuts. I think it’ll be fine, but yeah…the toilet…😕
I love the way the floor came out. One of my favorite interior colors is a French blue. Pinterest has so many beautiful pictures of that color.
Hi, love your video’s. You style really inspires me. And your video’s are amezing. Fun fact, Delft isn’t a compact but a city in The Netherlands. Delfs blauw (that’s how we say it in The Netherlands) is a color. It is used on tiles, pottery/China and plates. It dates back to the 16th centrury. Love from the Netherlands ❤️
Oh my goodness I love this soo much 💗can’t wait for part two xoxo 💗😍🙋♀️
Been following since I saw you upcycle a coffee table. Love your content!! makes me feel like I could do anything. You are very inspiring!! Keep it up Sis 💌
I just installed this EXACT combo of peal and stick tiles from Lowe's! I love the mix of the grey and warm white tones. I put them on the floor in my kitchen as a mini makeover before the big reno project. Maybe I've been watching your channel too long that we are on the same page now 😂❤
You make everything look amazing. I love your vision and creativity 😍
I’m super inspired to use that type of “tile” for a DIY floor fix!
Love the floor looking forward to seeing the finished result 🥰
We used a wood patterned version of these peel and stick tiles in both of our bathrooms and they made a HUGE difference. We also caulked the edges. We love them!
I LOVE those blue tiles. I would remove those bars on the window immediately. I am so shocked they were allowed to sell the house with those still on. Yes on French country! I LOVE that floor!!!
Love it I’m renovating my home and this is so inspiring
When we bought our first home, we updated the entire house before moving in with paint, new flooring, window treatments etc. When it came time for the kitchen, we were over budget already (of course), so we went with a peel and stick tile. I loved it!! Because we had two small kids and two dogs, and the back door from the garage entered into the kitchen, we bought extra tiles just in case one got damaged. We ended up getting transferred and moving several years later, and the people who bought the house loved the floors!
The tile colors are really pretty. You made it look so easy. Thinking of doing mine as a quick fix until I do new flooring, :)
I think you could make the other white tiles work if you would make the grout a dark and warm colour using grout pens !
I sat down literally just after finishing my checkered marble peel and stick tiles in my entryway, I see that Macenna is doing the same 😅😊❤ I did not have these great options for tiles in my country, I am jealous. It looks gorgeous ❤❤
I used peel and stick tile in my rental for the kitchen. I had horrendous mucky brown vinyl flooring, and the floor is very uneven, but my new blue/cream tiles make such a huge difference! I used double sided carpet tape to help stick them down, so I can remove them when I move out.
Fun! I was not expecting a diy bathroom episode today - I loved it! The tile turned out so good! I did a herringbone pattern using peel and stick tiles to cover an old linoleum in our tiny bathroom. It’s our only bathroom for my family of 5, so very used! I installed 7 years ago and it’s still holding up so well! I did not use glue (even tho after I started I felt like I should have) but I did grout between. It’s not perfect, but I’m very proud of it! Around the toilet was so challenging! Can’t wait for episode 2!
The floor is so pretty! I love that you alternated the colors. I used peel n stick tiles in one of my bathrooms and added grout and it looked great. It’s such an affordable way to make a major transformation!
I actually absolutely love the blue and white tile details in your bathroom and I feel that it just fits in with the French provincial style of yours. But as always, it’s about what you and Romeo like👍🏼. I love the floor you picked out so much better even than the picture you were looking at online. I love that marble look and you’re going to rip out that floor eventually anyway so go ahead stick these on there. Have some fun with it all why the heck not😜. I am so glad that you’re going to paint the cabinets and do something about all that mixed metal and that silver. Being able to take that mirror down so easily it’s a nice bonus. I am looking forward to seeing you work on this room. Things are always better once you’re done with them❣️😃. Oh I love you doing diamond shaped instead of checkered board. Seriously like 10 times better. You always have such an amazing hi for things and details.
While watching you put down the tiles, I was so nervous Kinsley was going to come in & step on the liquid nails! I absolutely love the floor! I think after watching you, I am brave enough to try it myself. Thank you sweet girl!! 😘
MaCenna ,wow the bathroom floor look gorgeous , you always did beautiful job in all you DIY project . Thank you very much to share with all of us🥰
This peel and stick tile is so pretty and understated! I wonder if it would work on a wall in the bathroom? 🤩
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the floor!! My husband is framing a back porch mudroom as I type and I’ve been trying to decide on flooring. My husband says no tile, so I was stuck with vinyl. This pattern and peel and stick method will please him and me! I’m going to do this too! It’s perfect!! Thank you for sharing!
So gorgeous! You could honestly stop here and its such an improvement already! Can't wait to see part 2!
I just wanna say that I love your content, your houses and your style. Your videos are so relaxing for me and I thank you for that. Kisses from Brazil ❤🥰
aww thank you so so much! that makes me so happy
Working on our bathroom now! Love seeing yours
Can’t wait for part two! Love the floor
The floor turned out great love the diamond pattern it makes all the difference. ❤
Delft is not a company but a city in The Netherlands. They are so famous for that iconic white/blue tiles that it became a brand name. The color scheme comes from trying to imitate Chinese porcelain and you can situate its heydays from the 17th upwards to the 19th century. 🙂
