HEY YALL i wrote the recipe and method. enjoy!!!!!
-pot
-bowl
-cutting board
-chicken stock (500ml ig ish)
-chicken bouillon
-shredded roast chicken (rotisserie chicken)
-carrots
-celery
-flour tortillas
-garlic powder
-poultry seasoning
-onion salt
-lawry’s
-thyme
-sage
-garlic salt
-black pepper
-butter
1.stock in the pot. dilute with water.
2.teaspoon and half of bouillon
3.boil. meanwhile add other ingredients to a bowl and add them once the concoction is boiling.
4.half a stick of butter (55g) into the concoction on the stove.
5.remove from heat. into the pot goes tsp garlic powder, tsp garlic salt, tsp poultry seasoning, tsp sage, tsp thyme, tsp lowry’s , tsp and half of black pepper (onion salt was neglected in the video)
6.stir.
7.put back onto heat pleaseee 🥺👉👈
8.shredded carrots into a bowl. (prob two medium sized carrots worth)
9.chop three celeries. add to the bowl.
10.add shredded chicken to the bowl.
11.check on your concoction. don’t let the butter burn 👹😘🫶🏻
12.add the contents of the bowl to the concoction.
13.do a little stir.
14.slice a whole pack of tortillas like a pizza and plop them in your concoction.
15.submerge them. drown them.
16.put a lid on and allow it to simmer/boil for about 25-30 minutes. LET HER DO HER THING. just leave her. give her some space 🫶🏻
17.clean your work space. harness the soul of the lady from ratatouille.
18.serve and smack it down your gob. 🤠
How much water should you add?

@Kayla PaulIt depends on how salty you like your soup. I had 2 cans of chicken stock and after I tasted it I put 2 or 3 cups of water in it. And then also consider the seasonings and butter. You can always add water but you commit once it's in.
Also this recipe is so mf good Im eating it rn ‼️ I added a little more chicken bouillon and garlic powder but it's all preference based :3

Sodium is an electrolyte, it’s different than salt, but is a part of salt, and to work efficiently (at keeping the bodies water/blood volume balanced) it has to be consumed with a good amount of fluids, which is why, on its own (or in salt), sodium can dehydrate you, but when it’s balanced with enough water, like in gatorade, it can properly hydrate :D (this is just what I’ve researched, could be wrong lol)
If you were a science teacher you would be great at it
also if you’re just at a lack of water but already ate a lot of sodium then don’t drink gatorade. That’s for when your dehydrated because you lost of water via sweat cuz that also makes you lose salt!
Sodium pulls water out of cells, potassium pulls water into cells. The two need to be balanced for hydration. Many people seem to forget about potassium (:
It has to do with osmosis- basically the movement of water into/out of cells based on the concentration (amount) of the electrolytes (eg. sodium and potassium) in the cell and outside of the cell, to reach equilibrium :)

I love a good chicken and dumpling recipe. I cut refrigerator biscuits into chunks and add them as my dumplings, simmer covered on low boil until puffed and cooked through. Easy and yummy.
This is great. Our familys easy comfort food is a thick tomato soup with toast pieces dunked in egg and fried in butter on the side. The fruity hearty soup with the buttery toast is just beyond.

having sodium when you're dehydrated actually helps your body to reabsorb more water! this is because in the nephron (the part of the kidney that filters your blood to remove waste products), the reabsorption of sodium from the tubule (the thing carrying the waste products) into the medulla (the part of the kidney that takes things you need to keep out of the waste tube) increases osmotic pressure, meaning that more water tries to diffuse into the medulla to dilute the sodium. so the more sodium there is, the more water will follow :)

the tortillas are such a texas thing 😂 i feel like so many regions of the south have their version of the "dumpling" and it's usually just whatever's on hand, homemade flour dough, or canned biscuits, or tortillas. that's what i love about southern comfort food. thanks for sharing! 💖

I know it’s not much but something as simple as this really helped me a lot. i’m housesitting for my grandparents and I’ve been in complete solitude for a week and it’s been really difficult and watching this video while making this recipe with you made me feel not as lonely and I really appreciate that.

Looks yummy! My Mom used to make homemade egg noodles with chicken broth and lots of salt and i always wanted the noodles thick more like dumplings. Then when i was moved out, married and cooking my first Thanksgiving dinner. I made her famous egg noodles but i accidentally bought self rising flour. They wound up being the best dang dumplings ive ever had (besides Cracker Barrel)
