The girl who sang dragostea din tei was born to sing it with the original singer. Their voices really complemented each other

The French performance was utterly beautiful. For the artist to come and sing with you must have been an unreal moment. And their spontaneous arrangement was incredible. I clapped like a seal 😄
What I love is how passionately all of the judges really wanted and loved to hear their works sung even possibly better. Their dedication to their craft is clear and truly inspiring.

The coach coming in for the French duet was most delightful😊 They say the biggest compliment is when you impress the actual singer of the song but I think it's when the originator wants to do your rendition of thier song🎵 I enjoyed it although I can't understand it. It was a beautiful moment❤️

The french girl with the harp, it was just mesmerizing. Just close your eyes, you can imagine living in a world where you can simply enjoy your life to the fullest. You don't even need to understand the words, still you can feel the whole vibe of the song. As the judge said "quelle poésie!"
OMG! Everyone performed so well. Loved how Rita was so happy and supportive when Abbey Green sang How to be lonely. Also 'Play with fire', that performance was fire!!! 🔥

Gustine, I rewound the video 6 times just to listen to your voice....and then in combination with the gentleman who sang with you...just as many times. You did a demonstrably phenomenal rendition of the song you and he sang together. I got goosebumps!

Boy George didn't even recognize his own song....too funny! The sound of the harp is so gorgeous! I used to play harp music for my kids to fall asleep to when they were little. So soothing and peaceful!

*The first one was everything!!* She brought soul, uniqueness, sensitivity, and creativity to that song giving every ounce of her being to the performance. *The last one was everything!!* Again, soulful, unique, creative and such an unexpected treat for us and for Boy George! Loved it when he joined in. I'd buy both of those lady's recordings in a heartbeat.
They are all wonderful, but Gustine's blew me away. The Harp is an amazing instrument, and their voice gave me chills, so soft and beautiful

Wow! Boy George doing his song down tempo and bluesy was truly amazing. Loved him as Culture Club in the 80s (let's face it--he WAS Culture Club), but I definitely want to see him explore this bluesy side. So rich, yet a bit edgy and raw. LOVE it.
Gustine's performance is incredible, I'm French and if I knew the music, I didn't know this version, it touched me deeply, really beautiful.
I've never known this song Play With Fire but I was so mesmerized about this rendition and had to check the song! Can't believe how different it was and deeeym, I like this contestant's soulful rendition better! No wonder the original singer was too pleased! Wish I could have a studio version of this one

Yeah i checked it as well and like both rendition actually.. They give different taste how they knew fire and burned at the same time.The original was cooly making a way out from the fit and succeeding, while the other was drowned with regret and pain, was able to get out also but with so much difficulty bec its never easy to get the feeling of a burnt heart. Its like when we hit ourself, its either i say shit for being surprised with pain and go over it easily but sometimes i couldnt say a word bec of the sudden ache that lasts😓

I almost skipped Karma Chameleon because I’ve heard it so many times. I’m glad I stuck it out. She took that song and made it her own and it’s amazing! It’s dark and moody and I love it. The lyrics really pop, whereas in the original all I can remember is “you come and go” being repeated. 😂
I watch videos of people's auditions because I love seeing their dreams come true, but this has to be a whole new level to have your song performed for you. I think that could feel really sweet. I love seeing it.
Gustine playing the harp and singing the Marc Lavoine song Elle a les yeux revolver was outstanding 11out of 10. I also did not understand anything, but the tone, pitch and tempo was spectacular

I’m from Germany but the rendition of Dragostea Din Tei at 17:22 was really cool to hear. The original song was huge when I was a child there in the early 2000s and we were singing along to the full thing (or tried to sing what we heard phonetically). I could never forget the music video of the three on the plane. Alo, aaaalo!

@Lisa Nguyen SAME!! Cuz I was a such a young tike back then, me and my friends called it the Numa Numa song. (Speaking other languages was not our steong suit lol) It was in a plethora of AMVs at cons in the US in '05-'07. Was singing along as soon as ot got to some of the lyrics I recognized!
I have no idea what that French song, but I can only imagine how amazing that person must have felt not just auditioning for the judges, but then getting to perform a duet with one of them!
I love seeing the singers gain all the confidence they need to crush it when they get a coach to turn around.
I loved that Ukrainian singer the post singing that Moldavian (Romanian language) song. It was a beautiful job with an amazing voice. The French singer was creative and really touched the original singer, so it's a toss up.
