Seeing Shannon absolutely tear the Broncos apart is totally understandable. A major Broncos legend he is. Loved watching him in the 90s! This Broncos team is abysmal.
I don't care for Russell Wilson one way or the other but it looked like he was the only one on that entire Broncos roster, including the coaches, that didn't give up. That is what's shameful, losing even by 50 isn't as shameful as giving up. You get horrible mismatches and huge blowouts like this in middle school football and yet those kids go out there and don't give up despite being outmatched at every level.
Wilson earned my respect in that game, that doofus always-positive-never-give-up-good-guy act of his really isn't an act, that's who he really is.
Sad looking at the broncos sideline afterwards, especially Russell, looks like they were crying for real.
Not kicking the FG was a weird move. It's like they didn't want to run up the score, meanwhile they've already had 70 points and were up 50! Sportsmanship went out the window 30 points ago! Give those men the record, they've earned it.

Shannon Sharpe has every right to go off!!! He's a former Broncos great and to see his former team get humiliated like that is totally unexceptable, that loss was completely embarrassing!! The losses and scandals sean payton has been connected to are brutal, Minnesota miracle, NFC Championship no call, but this is on a whole different level. Enter The Nathaniel Hackett comments, he went against the coaching code and insulted another head coach calling his performance the worst coaching job in NFL History. This is when the chickens come home to roost. What the Dolphins did to the Broncos and how Mike McDaniels ran up 70 points 😳, seems like it was more personal than people realized. Payton will never recover from this, The Broncos organization and fan bases will always be mocked and made fun of because of that kind of performance and the lack of preparation, it falls on Ego of Sean Payton who's ego was ripped to shreds on a Sunday afternoon where his team was out performed by a young head coach and by a team who was just better than them!! in all three phases. 🎭 .!!!

This makes what the Patriots defense did to Miami a week earlier seem unbelievable. Miami scored 24 points and Tyreek had just 40 yards in that game. Tua only had 244 passing yards. Oh, and they had Jaylen Waddle in that game. They can be beaten.
They definitely can be beaten people live in the moment and they just had an all time monster game. They only beat the patriots by 7 and they only beat the Chargers by 2. They are a good team though.

This is literally comical how we’re talking about Russel Wilson and the offense being a problem when the defense just gave up 70 points. The defense isn’t Russel’s problem, but it’s Sean Payton’s though.
They ain’t blaming him for the defense they just saying if they dropping 70 why you ain’t at least got 30-40 dolphins are on the rise but their defense ain’t the 2001 Ravens
@HJwhen you down 35 10 at halftime you basically have to pass and the defense knows that and they aren’t going give you anything deep and the pass rusher don’t have to worry about the Run game. Honestly to was bad all around but the defense looked like a victim in Law & Order SVU episode
It ain’t all on Russ by any means but when the defense has a game like this it’s also fair to consider how the offensive performance plays into how the defense performs over the course of the game. When the offense has a ton of drives where they go three and out quickly and keep sending the defense back out without much rest of any kind the defense isn’t going to play well. When the offense has multiple turnovers that give the dolphins really good field position on short drives that send the defense right back out quickly again the defense isn’t going to perform well. The defense laid an egg no doubt but it’s also fair to consider that a defense that keeps getting thrown back out there without getting some rest to face such a quick team that spreads the field like Miami that you’re going to see them give up points. Things can change uo a bit if your offense instead has some long drives that lets that defense get some rest before going back out there. They probably still lose but they also probably aren’t giving up 70 either. But the problems are definitely more than just Russ but he will always be a major target for criticism even if he’s playing better this season so far. Comes with the price that was paid to have him

One important thing I’ve learned about the NFL throughout my life is that a HUGE chunk of these coaches are terrible and don’t know what they’re doing at all, but continue to get jobs cause of the relationships they have with GM’s and owners. You’d see a lot more successful teams if the players had more control over play calling

The only thing I can think of being worse for the Denver Broncos than dropping 70 points to my beloved Miami Dolphins is if the Broncos end up going winless this season and join the select handful of other teams that have had to deal with and stomach a winless season. I was in StL when the Rams were GSoT. Miami's offense is built kinda like that and they look scary like that too, at least right now they do. We'll see if they can keep it going, but it's almost impossible to stop everybody on that offense. Tua just needs to stay healthy.
